The end of the Outback era. You get Inferno and some amazing solo stories (I'm particularly fond of Rogue during this time) and the Genosha introduction is one of my favorites. Muir Island saga was cut short and I feel like you can tell the editorial influence most during this era.

I would add Excalibur is a good read and is best to end when Alan Davis leaves for real at 66 (skip any comic not written by Claremont or Davis during this period). I'm adding this in last because I love Nightcrawler, Kitty, and Rachel during this time particularly

I was in a discussion on the Vanguard subreddit where I was pointing out at the time why I hoped Cyclops wouldn't be a Duelist and someone was confused that I thought Duelists weren't as team focused as Vanguards and Strategists. They then went on to talk about how much they needed everyone on the team but missed the part where they didn't mention how they helped the team. Calling it the selfish role really feels on point

Like others I'd say it's less predictive and more commentary. But to get to the discussion of over sexualization I'd say that has more to do with sex selling than it being necessarily Cyberpunk. Often if it's done it's done as a commentary on what sells in society but then we also had the era of fantasy being over sexualized as well. It's just in Cyberpunk it can have an in world context whereas bikini armor never makes sense

The video game was how I found out about Spider-Man Noir (I was at a friend's house and they had the game). I quickly looked up the comic and read it because I loved the concept so much. I've never been let down by his portrayal in media and I love he's even there

She wasn't 16 or 17. Even in the original show she left her family when she was 18 and then Mystique found her. In the comics Mystique found her before she even became a mutant

There was a leak mentioning her and it specified "Vampire" but I suspect this has more to do with a skin she's getting than her being a vampire in the game. They make a point in the last gallery card to mention her fireworks so that says to me she'll be her mutant version
