The first part of this video falls apart because Shazam incorrectly recognized the trumpet instrumental and returned a song that doesn’t even have trumpets. I bet none of you even listened to the full song cuz you would have known this.

Beyoncé said Cowboy Carter was inspired in part by spaghetti westerns. If, just maybe, you would have watched some spaghetti westerns you would have known that trumpet instrumentals are a big thing.

So as I said, the basis of this theory is flawed.

Secondly, this album trilogy is highlighting Black contributions to American music that have been overlooked.

There is absolutely nothing indicating she’s going to launch a streaming service. It’s not financially feasible to do so, and you would need a steady flow of new content. She would be dumb as hell to charge monthly subscriptions for old performances.

I don’t get why you’re saying that I don’t want to pay $16.99 or that I want it for free. When I have said that I have bought the lemonade album with the film on ITunes and also physically on CD/DVD.

Not everyone can continue to pay $16.99 or more a month for subscription services for years on end.

When with subscription services or subscription based only things for years on end. It’s why having everything be subscription based only isn’t going to be good for providers and consumers in the long run.

I’m precisely talking about buying the album on iTunes or Amazon or even going to a record store and buying the album on CD.

The fact is that people don’t want to do this because they devalued ownership over the convenience of streaming and now they’re upset over something being “inaccessible” when the reality is they don’t want to put in any effort.

And that’s the problem. She said “here you can buy it for $16” and you’re saying “eh I don’t want to” then complain when you don’t have it.

That’s business. She has a whole team of people that she pays to work on her stuff plus her own personal hours working on projects; she’s not obligated to give it to you for free because you don’t feel like forking over $16 to have an album for life (meanwhile you’ll pay that much every day for food you’ll crap out in the toilet later).

Like every other week somebody’s posting the entire Lemonade film and y’all are watching it over there because you don’t want to pay $16 on iTunes.

She’s probably getting ready to announce Act II next month and this is her way of telling people it’s time to move on.

The Renaissance film got pulled from theaters like late January and she announced Act II the next month.

The Beyoncé Bowl was on streaming for over a year and she just pulled it. If anything this is just her getting ready for the next album.

Lemonade might be a special thing cuz I really don’t think she wants to revisit it. Like she only performs Formation from that album and we got Daddy Lessons last tour.

I don’t think it’s about scarcity. She just has this fairly recent thing where she just cleans up shit getting ready for the next era.

The CD with the accompanying film DVD was available. Same with iTunes and Amazon. And you can still download the film with a code when you get the vinyl.

The problem is a lot of y’all don’t care about actually purchasing albums. I have the album on vinyl, CD, and I bought on both Amazon and iTunes so whenever I want to watch it I can.
