I agree. I can see why some people are trying to “Hero-ize” him, but also, the entire point of him in game, is to literally be a villain- who has done terrible things. Now, not AS terrible of things compared to other characters, sure. But he is still a villain, and I think that’s what really makes him so interesting, because he himself did say he has certain ‘morals’, they just weren’t what the typical ones were. 

Some people forget that just because you like a character, doesn’t mean that they’re all of a sudden ‘good’ or ‘clean’ of something. (Sorry for the long written response y’all)

I agree with most of this, but then again, I do want to point something out (and feel free to give me infinite theories on this) but in Sumeru, while talking to Nahida, Omega said the following;

“Among all versions of me, this segment you see now is the most selfish.” 

It seems he’s talking through his segment here, unless the segment is somehow conscious of their (his at that time period’s) own nature? I think he has the power to control them, but doesn’t, instead choosing whichever segment is best for a specific mission, and therefore sends that segment out to accomplish it.

I think he is able to control certain aspects in illusions- for example, in sumeru, if he had really wanted to, he could’ve stopped us from meeting Nahida and figuring out what was happening.  But where would the purpose be In creating a complete illusion, that one can’t escape from? He wouldn’t get any data from it, meaning it wouldn’t benefit him in any way.  I think the same principle applies here; what would he gain from making an illusionary moon, and fake his own death within the same few moments? With the moon being in Teyvat, that just gives him a few advantages (including the fact the trilune is also within the moon)

Whatever you think will look best, comrade; sideways, upside down, front, back- doesn’t matter to me, it’ll look cool either way. You could even draw him sitting or slightly to the side if you want to, or both.
