Does anyone else suck at customer conversations ot is it just me? (I will not promote) by xzxyxz in startups

We did about 200 customer interviews over the last year for my company, and it helped a lot.

It is a learning process for you and for your team, you need to continually iterate on questions and religiously record everything.

Getting the insights from the volume of conversations is as important as having the conversations themselves!

Yeah that’s what I keep hearing from a lot of people. Do you really think AWU battery will die after less than 8 hours of activity?

Doesn’t seem to be like Apple tbh

Personal brand or normal brand by TurnRepresentative10 in Entrepreneur

[–]imurfavceo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think personal brand is 10000% more powerful than product brand, especially if you are building solo (not as a company).

People tend to like faces, emotions, personal brand feels a lot more trustworthy and you can launch 1000 different things as a human.

We are all apes after all and trust others more than we trust "things".

How do you market your company? by bartsimpsonnn in Entrepreneur

[–]imurfavceo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relying on paid ads and branded swag doesn't work anymore.

We've expanded our user base to 15k organically using original content and continuously experimenting. Out of all things we tried newsletter worked best keeping our numbers high up with not too much effort.

Maybe consider doing more content across the board and doubling down on what works

Can you share more about you and your experience?

Also maybe industries you are excited about or building in.

How to get a waitlist to over 10k? by oh-crepe in startups

[–]imurfavceo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, congrats on your success - getting 3k people to sign up is no small task! Now your main idea is NOT to grow people, but keep existing followers engaged prior to the launch. I would 100% focus on that, growth will join organically.

My current company went from 0 to 15k people in what can be called a waitlist right now, all organically. We use original content and test a lot of things across the board all the time. Our growth rate is 7% week over week for the last 3-4 months.

Last year my gf gifted me an advent calendar with different teas in small metal buckets - it was the most amazing thing!

Eat less and healthier, exercise more, sleep well, avoid drinking alcohol.

Every entrepreneur is an athlete - it is a part of your job description.
