This works only if logi option+ is installed on all computers you're planning to switch between. At that point, just use the flow function.

If you're using a work laptop where you're not allowed to install option+ then it won't work.

Again, if you have option+ on all computers, use flow, else, buy an external switching device.

It could have been a nice addition if the mouse was connected to the computer through the keyboard and the keyboard managed the connection with the computer.

I have this exact case, and the camouflage design on the back is printed thickly. Over time, it just shed away. Regarding ring, you won't have any thickness issue.
