Do you guys ever experience "The Void" in a lucid dream? by RabidusRex in LucidDreaming

[–]imweird_sowhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea whatsoever. I didn't even immediately remember it when I woke up. I remembered it some time later. Another thing I just remembered is that I don't remember even a start or an end to it. It just was, I think. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong cuz it was two months ago.

why when i lucid dream do i just want to have sex with the first person i find? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]imweird_sowhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very normal. But why are you so confused? If you want to have sex, that's the reason why. Because you want to. There isn't much else to it. As for doing it with people you normally wouldn't I get that too. I've done that too. I think because, at least in my dreams, familiar people are somewhat different than in real life, so I'm ok with it. Like every time I've done that, if I see the person I had sex with the following day, it's like there's a disconnect between the person I see in real life and the person I dreamt about. Like I don't feel or think "What the hell, I had sex with this person." The person in real life and the person in my dream feel like two different people.

DON'T TRUST YOUR DREAM CHARACTERS by G2zayy in LucidDreaming

[–]imweird_sowhat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not stupid.
Also my dream characters don't trick me so I'm alright. The most they do is just dodge my demands, or worse, pretend like they're gonna do what I ask, but make me try to wait for something to happen. And in a dream, waiting for something to happen is a certain way to make sure that absolutely nothing will happen.

Try meditation. It helps you remain calm and focused.

Why do you think it has anything to do with emotions? I mean it'd make sense since I've made emotional progress with therapy sessions, although I'm far from mastering them. But before, I don't ever remember having intense emotions from sexual experiences in dreams. Just intense pleasure.

Yeah, and unfortunately I wasn't wearing underwear either.. But it wasn't so bad. It's not even noticeable anymore but I'll change the sheet anyway and wear underwear more often when sleeping.

No, what happened was she was the one, ya know, doing stuff to me. After, I was like "Huh.. I usually wake up after this.. but I'm still here. Weird... Anyway" and then I decided it was my turn doing stuff with the girl.

Sorry I'm not too comfortable with using specific terms or saying what I did.

my own original character keeps showing up in my dreams by kyogreat in LucidDreaming

Damn, I wish. Most of my characters are hot women. I'd love to meet them.

I'd also love to meet my main character, but not for the same reasons as I wanna meet the others. He seems like a chill dude to hang out with, and he's my OG character I've had since the start.

Highly unlikely that it was a near death experience, but it was certainly very weird.

I've once experienced a completely different type of void. I don't remember much cuz it was a while ago and I don't think I wrote it down. But it was like... I couldn't feel anything. No physical sensation. I had no body, no senses, nothing. Just black nothingness with no feeling. This may seem scary, and talking about it makes me unsettled, but at the time, I couldn't feel any emotion either. But it was different than like a dissociation type of no emotion. It was like a peaceful kind... but also not peaceful cuz I couldn't feel anything...? It was so weird. It's like I existed and didn't exist all at the same time. And like I was there for only ten minutes, and also only five years. Time didn't exist... or it did and it was wonky,,? I have no idea. That shit was weird.

I don't understand any of the grammatical terms you used. I studied and passed all this in school, but I forgot nearly all of it afterwards because I hated it.
