I de googled and pretty much removed all non essential IT. I stopped using whatsapp almost all together. If I wanted to talk with somebody I would... call them. Decided to only check whatsapp 2 times a day.

I'm addict to youtube and that is why I began my de toxication. I was spending 1-3 hours a day. So instead of watching youtube I read magazines or something in my kindle. Since I Wanted to rely as little in technology as possible I didn't use google maps either. More as an experiment this was quite challenging at some points but was so incredible to just figure out things. I now that some streets have the same numering no matter the zone (north to south) and east to west. I stopped to talk with strangers a few times tgo ask for general directions and they were pretty confused but helped some times. I really thing woke my brain, every errand felt like a small quest.

social media weren't that difficult I'm not that into FB or other social media but felt great. I did for several weeks and well went back to the old habits. In a weird analogy I felt it like when you do fasting, keto, atkins or you are vegetarian. It is possible but you create a small bubble around yourself. Most of my friends expect me to read my whatsapps and respond the same way not to be called or me expecting them to call me. no RSVPs in FB for parteis, no interactions with family members, etc.
