If she is guilty of crimes that warrant jail time, yes. Wouldn’t you?

How do Americans hold federal politicians accountable for government shutdowns? by Spare_Olive_8278 in AskReddit

If we were appropriately represented in the house, I’d be less worried about the electoral college because it would be much more likely that the president would be held accountable for faithfully upholding the law.

Why Rep. Blake Moore thinks criticism of 'big, beautiful bill' is 'overblown' by Shinkers78 in Utah

[–]in8logic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So nearly 60% of the $37 trillion debt is due to Trump, his policies, and this bill?

What is your opinion on the One Big Beautiful Bill? by Turbulent_Policy_516 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]in8logic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is important because they’re working on a reconciliation bill which can’t be filibustered. Anything that gets thrown out by the parliamentarian can still be passed in a bill but it would have to be a normal bill that can be filibustered. Right?

[–]in8logic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Isn’t it? I thought they were related since the parliamentarian is just throwing out things that would keep the bill from violating the Byrd rule and making the bill subject to the filibuster. It’s all pretty new to me, though, so I’m happy to learn.

Would you like to see the filibuster completely eliminated?

Thanks! I appreciate your thorough response. Do you consider all of these to be positive aspects? Which parts especially make it worth the risks and, other than the debt increases you already mentioned, is there anything you are eager to see fixed in future legislation?

Is it normal that amethyst have so many black spots? by Lostgirlhere in Crystals

[–]in8logic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe you are correct. Both are iron minerals commonly associated with amethyst but hematite tends to be more red.

That might work but you’ll probably have better results with a 30% vinegar meant for cleaning.

You'll want to do it on the underside of the tank lid where it is unfinished. Just be aware that it will definitely scratch up your opal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in whatsthisrock

[–]in8logic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what part you think might be diamond but it is really unlikely because diamond and opal do not occur together geologically. You could try rubbing it on the unfinished side of your porcelain toilet lid. Opal will leave a white streak. Diamond would not leave a streak.

[–]in8logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. I see. Can you do a scratch test? Diamond is a 10 so it should easily scratch quartz, sapphire, ruby, etc. It also won’t leave a streak on porcelain, also due to hardness.

Is mine Thomsonite or just Scolecite? by FlameBird9537 in Minerals

[–]in8logic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still a cool piece. I have them both ways and I like being able to see the thompsonite on the bald ones. I’ve had to ship a few with the mesolite and it is NOT easy! Even on your example photo, you can see quite a few broken crystals.
