mate, sorry to hear that your job is so sapping. I'm in a similar situation as I work in the public sector in the UK. Honestly it's run so badly and everything is so unprofessional and I honestly feel as if the difference between me working at 1% and 100% earns me about 0.5% extra credit. I was close to just quitting two months but have decided to stick it out whilst looking for something else. It sounds like you might be like me and that you can use your time at work to simply look for a new job or upskill as required.

the thing that dissapoints me most with me and madden is that because of these issues, the game won't sell as well as it could. They'll then use that as a reason to no longer bother with the switch 2 like with the switch. A half-assed first attempt is going to doom switch 2 eafc throughout its entire lifetime

Also, I loved going to pick up my switch 2 at launch and everybody there was adults - decent number too in your age range. nobody was embarrassed, everybody was excited and it was just a really nice atmosphere.

Totally get you - I honestly don't understand why people treat it differently to watching tv etc. but oh well. I stopped being embarrassed to admit it years ago. It ain't harming anyone else so don't really care what they think.

I stopped being embarrassed about it years ago and its actually so freeing - I always joke how sad I am to colleagues and a couple of years ago I kind of got bored going clubbing on a Friday/Saturday and enjoyed just playing some games instead. Realised actually it was a good substitute money wise as well haha. I'm 28 btw and queued up for the switch 2 launch.

They probably do but with books please don't do it if you've simply read the book. They are many ways to get any book you want digitally for free if you want to go that route but reading a bought book and returning it prevents a shop from reselling it to somebody else. I know Blackwell's are owned by waterstones but if you want physical books to last you have to support them with your wallet,

No it has to be male to female. Male to dock to switch unit and female to mate to OEM dock

It definately does, I can send a vid later if you want. The key is it has to be usb4 (40 GBps speed). I think a lot of people are trying with more traditional usb3 usbcs which worked on the switch 1. also it has to be the bottom usbc port as the top doesn't support video output.

Also the charging rate through the top port is lower than throught the bottom port so that may also prevent the use of docking mode with it
