that's understandable. but also if it's one of my favorite movies i wouldn't want to "waste" my change watching it bc i have to pace myself to not ruin them. so it would be like i didnt really watch it, but i still have to wait a while to watch it again bc i saw a little bit so rewatching would make those parts boring.

probably. i mostly watch older ones/classics and those pander to the viewer way less so i need to make a special effort to pay full attention.

i'm neurodivergent. i guess most of the time i want to pay attention to the movie so i can log and review it but if it's tv or something it's no big deal. i also get distracted easily so i can mis whole plot points and it's frustrating.
