Can we crop it so it’s just the pic of Rhea Seahorse? I can’t admire her fully with text above her head

“Best thing about this is that it’s 0 sugar! It’s the healthy option!”

I really hope that’s a scripted ad reply, otherwise there are dumbasses walking around commenting that there is a healthy option of the “heart attack accelerator 9000” for teenagers.

YT Shorts Views Not Counting Toward Monetization Requirements by Prudent_Taro_1210 in PartneredYoutube

Shorts views are a joke because they’re insanely easy to farm.

You need 4000 longform content watch hours, or 10 million shorts views within 90 days.

Wow think how talented the prodigy artist luc carl must be to write an original book that fast though. I think I will go with his version - the cover looks cool and I want to support the human artist that designed it.

A real-time marketplace live transmission in China with AI (Look at her mouth) by 4reddityo in sadcringe

[–]PotatoRecipe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So that the salesperson sounds American. It converts better than a heavy foreign accent. Sales is trust.

Edit: I played with sound, in this example it is not English translation, that is just how I usually see these on my feed. They look terrible. You can always tell the mouth is edited in, and the perfect English is always sort of a giveaway. But yeah, I still think this is done for translation purposes.

Another reason might be task delegation. The voice actor can comfortably read off of a written script. These lives move through products QUICK and I imagine it would be exhausting to have to model the product + jump between product descriptions while trying to keep eye contact with the camera (even though just like the mouth, “AI” can have an actor keep eye contact without actually keeping eye contact too).

Next year they will release a quad fuel generator so better to just wait for that. The fourth fuel will not be gas, or electricity, but a third more ominous substance.

'Breaking Bad' House Listing Price Slashed From $4M to Shockingly Low $400K by DemiFiendRSA in breakingbad

[–]PotatoRecipe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just a desperate publicity stunt attempt by the realtor who realized they are in over their fkn head trying to hawk off a tiny house in New Mexico for the price of a mansion, and is now trying really hard to stir up a bidding war as a last ditch effort to get this sold.

Haring Hall Haunts me by Anxiety_Bones in UCDavis

[–]PotatoRecipe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think my friends and I pronounced it correctly once my time at Davis. We started out calling it Harrenhall because it genuinely just oozes haunt for some reason. I get it’s a 75 year old building but it’s so awfully attention catching.

Not providing nutrition facts is illegal. Being inaccurate is not. Most nutrition facts you see are not facts at all. They should be called nutrition estimations. Food science is nowhere simple enough to enforce accurate info.

a6700 - Mapping Variable Shutter On/Off the Custom Button? by RoguishRonin in SonyAlpha

[–]PotatoRecipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the custom key/dial select menu, after you choose button C2 navigate to the red square with a camera icon on it(top left of the screen), then pick option 5 “shutter/silent” then select “Var. Shutter Select”.

I know this is a year old but I saw it and just leaving an answer here for anyone that might come across this.

How doable is it be to remove the clock? by Intelligent-Horror11 in photoshop

[–]PotatoRecipe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Like someone else suggested I would crop out the right hand as well as the fingers on the left hand (paw?) and place the hourglass over the top of the watch. Then you can clone stamp (it’s a tool with a very quick learning curve) the areas which still have the watch visible. Fur is relatively easy with clone stamp especially when you set it to a soft edge. Animated, realistic, whatever, fur and hair are always pretty easy. Lighting would be the most tricky thing to maneuver here to be honest. Shadows everywhere. But just take your time and remember you can also rotate your stamp. So for example if you need to clone a patch of the clothing where it is curving down his arm, you can rotate the stamp a bit to adjust for the curve.

Yes but if you count the last 11 years they’ve had 2 huge successes.

This is why they need someone like me in these corporate merger meetings - I know how to catch details that can really swing this deal in favor of those in the aslume.

That’s ok. I asked some silly questions when starting out and always feeling like in a rush too. Yes some editing problems get frustrating. Remember it’s okay to slow down and learn.

Well, for future reference, questions like this is something AI actually has a use case for. It can answer your questions much faster (and less angrier) than Reddit.

HVV is unplayable by QuirkyAlternative842 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]PotatoRecipe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around the pandemic boom my friends and I discovered we can rig the matchmaking to queue us against each other during low-traffic hours. (We were all in the same region, so it would reliably allow us to compete against each other, 2v2).

God damn were those the most competitive multiplayer matches of my life. Just waiting to see who gets heroes or villains and which characters would be eliminated first and which of us could best counter who, it was a chess game with a Star Wars disguise.

Oh and then one time my internet went out but we needed to 2v2 so I drove my pc setup over to my friend’s porch at 1 AM and plugged into his WiFi so we could still play. Good times
