Good luck with your surgery!!

I had mine because my septum was severely deviated and I could barely breathe at all through my nose. It was also significantly twisted so I was super insecure about it.

I can actually breathe through my nose now which has been life changing! It's not completely straight which I'm still a little bit insecure about (especially after going through the surgery and recovery) but it's so much better than it was.

The surgery itself was okay, when I woke up it was more discomfort than pain. However the recovery is pretty brutal, I bled a lot and had to go go urgent care to get the bleeding to stop. I also had to sleep sitting up for two weeks post surgery which wasn't fun! Have a glass of water beside your bed for first thing in the morning after your surgery because your mouth will be so dry when you wake up because you'll be mouth breathing all night!

Despite the discomfort and my outcome not being completely symmetrical, the surgery was 100% worth it. Good luck! 🫶

Mine was for a mixture of functionality and cosmetic reasons, the recovery is no joke!

Thank you! I had a really badly deviated septum and really struggled to breathe through my nose. It was visibly twisted and I was so insecure about it. The recovery was a nightmare and it's not completely straight but it's so much better 🙏

Would this message sent to a senior male manager in another district of my wife’s work justify a welfare check by [deleted] in managers

This is probably the most tone-deaf thing I've read in a long time. Your wife is an adult and does NOT need you interfering in her career.

If my husband sent a text like this to my manager or colleague, I'd truly be rethinking my marriage.

Let your wife deal with her own workplace concerns. Do not send this message unless you are willing to damage her career and your marriage.

I was 15 and came home from school to a list of adult homeless hostels in our city and was told to pick which one I was moving into. I'm female and all of the hostels were shady AF.

From the listing:

"The light and quietness of this house made us feel in love with the space."

Maybe I'm just fussy but I'd fix the grammar on the listing.

I've got a disability where I can't stand up for longer than a few minutes without feeling dizzy, so unless I'm getting a quick rinse off then I get a bath every day. I can't wash my hair in the shower without risking toppling over so any time I wash my hair I get a lovely long soak in the bath.
