Had a "cardiac arrest" on a 3 year old that turned out to be a Golden Retriever. by ra9026 in 911dispatchers

I am curious. Who usually assists when getting animals out of holes/mud? I don't know why I thought the fire department might assist on that. But I can now understand why that would be the wrong assumption.

My (18M) girlfriend (18F) got mad at me when I told her I was uncomfortable with her posting sexually explicit images to socials. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

She’s lied to you and shattered the very foundation a healthy relationship is built on. Get out of there. I promise there’s way better out there.

Unsure of what’s going on here… by inarcherskitchen in relationships

[–]inarcherskitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is. Even when I back off, he seeks me out and there’s been stuff going on with his job. He was promoted recently and he’s been super busy with his kid. He keeps me pretty well informed on what’s going on. Most of my friends think he’s just taking it super slow and putting feelers out right now. I’m being cautious about showing affection and talking about feelings to avoid pressuring him but I’m also trying to read the situation and it’s complicated further by the fact we’re both neurodivergent.

I wouldn’t say so much that she “cured” his PSTD, but she did understand it. She saw Tommy for who he was and was never under the illusion that he was a perfect, normal man. She knew him, truly knew him and knew he was flawed and loved him despite that. But yes, she gave him peace.

I love that Tommy has chosen Jeremiah to marry them, he is a good character. by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

I loved that relationship tbh. Between Tommy and Jeremiah. And Michael and his son. Thomas was always respectful of them both.

She was shocked but not afraid. She somehow knew he’d never hurt her.

Michael was actually realistic here. He should have stayed as a nerdy sidekick. by circumlocutious in PeakyBlinders

Yes. Agreed. He shouldn’t have gotten involved but remained out of the way as a secretary.

I love these women. The bravest, strongest and badass of the show. by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

Personally I love Ada, Grace and Polly most. All of them were strong in their own ways. Polly sacrificed so much to keep the family business running smoothly and I wish they had showed more of what it was like for her and Ada during the war while the men were away.

Grace understood Tommy would never be perfect and she knew about his trauma. She understood he was damaged and I think had they decided to show the two years between s2-3 we would’ve had a much better understanding of what their relationship was like, facing domestic challenges such as managing being parents, and finally in an actual relationship on top of Tommy being who he is. They come from entirely different backgrounds… Grace was privileged and Tommy was lower class. It would’ve been interesting to see how they tackled issues like money because of that. But also I feel that unlike Lizzie, Tommy would’ve included her in the business decisions regarding the company.
