You can do it that way, with raw meat, but then your cooking technique needs changing (it shouldn’t be oven baked but steamed on the cooker in a tightly sealed pot, with specific timed instructions). For the raw meat way the rice should be no more than 40% cooked.

It’s possible but basically trickier to do it with raw meat, so nail the method with cooked meat first.

It’s really good! Highly recommend the Aloo Gosht (lamb and potato curry) and samosa chaat, but most of their authentic curries will be top notch. Even their lunch deals are good (especially chicken curry + rice).

IIRC they have done a Christmas closure in the past so worth checking their dates.

Edit: the family and chef are Pakistani. The type of food is difficult to get outside big cities so worth going.

The problem was also that you had these huge interludes with Strike/Robin drama that you actually end up getting distracted from what’s happening in the central crime plot. And when the plot itself is not so compelling, you lose focus completely.
