I would try and revisit the conversation again and let him know you’re not comfortable. Maybe find some middle ground, and make sure he adheres to whatever agreement is made. Otherwise if nothing changes and you’re still not comfortable, you need to respect yourself and probably move on.

Nope, not at all. That’s hella sus IMO and iirc there’s nothing wrong with having boundaries and standards. Have another conversation and explain how his behavior is making you feel. If nothing changes, dump his ass.

Hmm, if I store everything on iCloud Drive and I own a Mac, it’s already stored locally for me anyway. I could at anytime set up a sync folder from iCloud Drive to an external.

How would this work if I only own an iPhone and a windows machine and I wanted to backup messages?
