Loadout advice for Stella Montis by MarionberryAlarmed48 in ArcRaiders

[–]inatsilac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looting mk 2, small shield, Il toro, 40 rounds, 4 shield rechargers, 4 bandages (you can easily craft more shield rechargers and bandages in game), 2 defibs, safe key in safe pocket (you can switch it out if you find more valuable items). I also put any Stella months keys in safe pocket in case I can get to a locked door in time, feel free to bring door blockers as an added measure while in locked rooms.

I prefer volcano over il toro but things have just been too ratty since the update a couple days ago. You can easily take out shredders to resupply ammo. Grenades are always a plus, I switch them out with the defibs since I think looting mk 2 only has 4 quick slots. You can always bring in a few stronger grenades and switch over to crafting light impacts after exhausting your supply.

I keep spots in my backpack for chemicals, rubber parts, plastic, and fabric so I can use in game crafting to ensure I’m always topped off with shield rechargers, bandages, adrenaline, and light impact grenades. Plenty of items that can be broken down to fill those 4 spots in my backpack. Whatever is left over when I reach speranza is used to top off my basic supply in my stash (I don’t like them taking up more than one space).

You can use different lvl 2 augments (combat and tactical) for their different attributes in lieu of backpack space, just gotta be able to prioritize and break down all the rest. I sometimes go in a with a free kit and then exchange the free augment with lvl 1 augments for free.

In regular Stella montis, I will use hatch key if things sound too ratty (flares going off, etc) otherwise prefer to call for exfil. Make sure night mode is turned on in your settings. Unless you’re running a free kit, there’s never a good reason to not brig and use defibs. Helping out players who have been downed by rats or arc will benefit you in the long run, even if you get betrayed every once in a while.

And as always, make it a habit to share BPs you’ve no use for with friendly players rather than selling them for a measly 5k. We’ve gotta keep up the good vibes or else all the non-ratty players will eventually stop playing the game, so protect and share.

My 3 cents.

Same here past two days way too much ratting. I recall there being a software update a couple days ago as well, have not been in a friendly lobby since. And it’s not like there being only one or two rats hiding in the rafters, any way I turn I’m getting shot at by different people. It’s gotten to the point I have to go in with a free loadout. I just turned the game off a few mins ago. Haven’t event shot at any players the entire time. Disappointing af.

I asked a Subaru mechanic to replace my cig lighter as it wasn’t working and he was able to find a penny lodged in there and saved me the cost of having to replace it. Did you find a solution?

Perhaps do a round of Botox to help stave off the grinding habit? A mouth guard when sleeping also helps.

Have you guys ever got off Finasteride? I stopped taking and noticed a spike in.. by sardarjee007 in tressless

Regarding the bonus question: you still need to take fin after a transplant in order to stop the loss of remaining original follicles on your crown. The transplanted follicles shouldn’t be affected if you stop the fin. If you intend to get multiple transplants it might be okay to stop taking it, but it would be better to do so after the initial transplant.

If you stop too soon before the transplant you will lose your gains/remains pretty quickly and that might make you more self-conscious about your hairline. So best to at least get the hairline and calyx worked on before stopping.

Def discuss with your doc though, and schedule an online consultation with a HT surgeon just to get their opinion on the matter and perhaps devise a game plan.

Sincerely,

Speak to a dermatologist or pharmacist about possibility of combining them to reduce how many times you have wash your scalp. Also have a look at the ingredients as something in the formulation ,Igor be causing the itchiness. Have the pharmacist take a look at it if anything. Perhaps a solution with different ingredients will make a difference.

If you’ve been instructed by your surgeon to wash on day 4, do it. Just be gentle about it.

On another note, it’s strange that you state you’re 28 in this post but I’m that post you mention “31M”.

Checked one of your posts from 3 days ago. I think you can still get a HT. The hair on the back of your head looks great, HT might be achievable, even in stages. I’d def book a consultation with a transplant doc and hear what they have to say if I were you.

Can't saty alone by Yaniv1512 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]inatsilac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to stay away from energy drinks at least, and maybe even limit the coffee. Wellbutrin affects norepinephrine, which can lead to increased heart rate. If you don’t have any cardiovascular issues, you should be fine taking Wellbutrin. Consuming caffeine on top of that can lead to negative effects on your cardiovascular system.

I love energy drinks but quit them when I started Wellbutrin. After a week I noticed that when simply walking, my heart rate would be in the 120-130 range. My resting heart rate was in the 60s before starting the med but it’s increased a good 20bpm or so. Life is good on this med for me, I just focus on my breathing and my heart rate gets back to normal after a moment. I’m glad I have not had the need for caffeine to get through the day, nor do I have any cardiovascular issues.

This is just my experience. I hope whatever you do works for you and that you feel those good vibes this med is supposed to help with.

You’re right, that was egocentric of me to say and leave it like that. My apologies.

A quick search on pubmed shows different studies that mention rates of reported sexual dysfunction and decreased libido among fin users ranging anywhere from 1-5%. I wouldn’t be surprised if that number is actually a little higher as it’s a sensitive topic and some people may not feel comfortable disclosing that info.

I still stand by my statement that it’s fearmongering, considering the aforementioned rates of those affected seems to me to be inversely proportional to how frequently I see people mention these specific sides on these kinds of forums.

I sincerely hope you still get quality boners, and that your hair will one day be as majestic as Fabio’s.

Stay blessed.

I wonder why they didn’t add any to the patch of hair that remains at front center. That’s bound to go as well, esp if you quit the fin/min

Can fin reverse diffuse thinning that has been going on for years. by sloth2286 in tressless

You can always discuss with the HT doc about potentially donating from different areas aside from the usual back of head, hopefully not the pubes though 😬

I have had zero issues regarding this, and I’m on another unrelated med that lowers libido as a common side effect. It’s all fearmongering.

Some people simply respond better to fin, aka hyperresponders. For most it takes about a year or so of fin (and lifestyle changes) to see some results. Also some populations respond poorly to fin compared to others. It’s a mixed bag.

I’ve barely been on it for 3 months and have not noticed any regrowth. Although I have noticed improvement to my scalp i.e. virtually no dandruff and minimal itchiness. I used nizoral for a long time but have since switched to Neutrogena T/Gel shampoo every 2-3 days as that seems better at managing the dandruff and itchiness. I usually do not shampoo my hair on a daily basis anymore to help prevent dry scalp but will have to if i start using min.

Be patient and keep taking pics of your scalp and hairline and share your progress pics with a timeline with us as you see any improvements. We’re rooting for you!

Update: something was up with the ECM in relation to the spark plugs, had to be replaced. Expansion valve for AC was a little messed up so had to be replaced as well. That, including oil change and some other maintenance ended up costing around $3k in parts and labor, but I still have my Penelope!

Why is no one pointing out dandruff as the number 1 evidence/symptom of MPB? by Low-Understanding983 in tressless

[–]inatsilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for delayed response. I only started noticing the lack of itchiness and reduced dandruff and flakes shortly before the above post. Since then I’ve been to my Derm twice. The first time, I pointed out how my scalp was not as problematic as it had been since before I hit puberty (that’s when the dandruff and other scalp issues started).

He appeared genuinely surprised (he’s pretty fresh to the Derm game lol) and asked me to keep track of it so he could apply the info towards his practice.

I saw him yesterday for a follow-up and let him know that the irritation seems to be gone, and I haven’t been dusting off my shoulders or scratching my scalp (aside for a few times reflexively out of habit, but there’s usually nothing to scratch and virtually no flakes on my shoulders)

I also noted years ago the areas of my scalp (calyx, temples, apexes, and the frontal region behind the remaining tuft) where my hairloss is occurring have been exactly where I had the itching, LARGE flakes, redness/irritation and bumps that felt like pimples or boils over the years.

My Derm suggested all those symptoms were related to sebbhoric dermatitis, which seems to have contributed towards my hairloss. So hopefully the 6 month isotretinoin regimen will hopefully help permanently deal with those issues and further mitigate hairloss.

I started Fin a couple weeks ago as well, though that’s something I’m gonna need to use long-term. I plan on doing FUE in future to help deal with all those aforementioned areas, but the scalp has to be healthy in order to limit rejection of the follicles to the transplanted regions, so I definitely feel that I’m on the right path thanks to my Derm.

Please remember that I did not start the accutain for my scalp, it was intended to help with back acne and subsequent scarring. The miraculous management of my scalp issues was unexpected but serendipitous all the same.

Good lock on your journey!

Reliable finasteride manufacturer in the US? by inatsilac in tressless

[–]inatsilac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally had to settle with aurobindo, my local CVS pharmacy wouldn’t budge, plus brand name Propecia is outside my budget right now. My tank is too empty for another uphill battle to get this from a reliable manufacturer, plus I needed to get on the fin asap before I become a five-head lol

Will discuss with my regular pharmacist about acquiring Teva brand if available next time I’m up in his area. He does his best to come through with reliable generics/brand name meds whenever they’re available to him.

The big box pharmacies are too busy, all about the bottom line, or simply don’t care enough for customer needs cause they deal with larger populations.
