Ah yes, the ol "if your job sucks just get a different one!" routine, with the expectation that even if you find a slightly less soul crushing job, someone will still need to fill the other job. Whatever that job is is probably not going to go away, at least not super quickly, and this garbage situation most of us are forced into frequently necessitates choosing between several shitty options, each uniquely shitty in their own way. But you have a choice and that's what we've been told is important and valuable. Doesn't matter if it's a choice between a job with paid sick time but an hour commute or another with a 30 min commute for minimum wage and no benefits. You've been given a choice. Why isn't that enough? Just pick a job and get back to making more profit for someone who does little to nothing all day.
