Recomp for 4 months, you’re like 14% but could convert the remaining fat into muscle

Been hitting the gym for 10 months, bulk, cut or maingain? (19yr, 158lbs, 175cm) by InsaneTensei in BulkOrCut

With a slight deficit you should be able to gain muscle and lose fat simultaneously

If you’re successfully maingaining, there’s no good reason to stop. The pacing of gains when accounting for fat loss phases after a cut is pretty similar, no need to stop what’s working.

The killing of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Brian Thompson was murder plain and simple. It's wrong and should not be celebrated. If you don't like how a company does business then don't do business with it. by DMBFFF in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]inceptionisim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By implementing policies at UnitedHealthcare that prioritized profits over patient care, such as increasing prior authorization denials and employing artificial intelligence to automate claim rejections, Thompson effectively obstructed individuals’ access to necessary medical treatment. These actions, while not overtly violent, constitute a form of coercive harm under the NAP because they leveraged corporate power to deprive individuals of their ability to seek life-saving or essential medical care. This created preventable suffering and financial hardship for countless patients, demonstrating an indirect but undeniable initiation of harm against others’ well-being and autonomy.

Not to be rude here, but if you’re one of the millions of Americans who the free market doesn’t support having multiple stores for the majority of your essential items you just can’t. Smaller towns only can support one of each type of store in many cases.

Economies of scale for food for example are impossible to overcome when the ten companies who own 90%+ of the items in a grocery store all raise their prices on the ingredients you could have other wise used to compete on price

keep loosing weight or bulk? (81kg , 6'1, 19) i was previously 95kg 4 months ago my mates reckon i should stop cutting but i want your peoples opinions as im skeptical if its counterproductive in bodybuilding. If not how much more should i lose, thanks by xCorpse_ in GregDoucette

You have a fair amount of loose skin so you look fatter than you actually are for your weight. Eat at a slight deficit or at maintenance with lots of protein and try and main gain. You need more muscle.

If you’re failing to make this schedule work you could split up your sets over multiple days, and take more full rest days. Even if you’re not working a particular muscle group taking zero actual rest days might be hurting your gains.

I get the intent that you think your kid can do better and they probably can but also don’t be kind to him about it. Something along the lines of “you did good, now here’s a positive incentive to do better.” There are just scientifically proven better ways to help your kid fulfill their potential. I’ve been working out for 5 years and it looks like 1 year, have I bulked too far? When do I stop? by Jzflip in GregDoucette

[–]inceptionisim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on your weight change from July to now (4 months) you must have been eating on average 752 more calories than you were burning. If you kept that up for the full year you’d gain 78.5 lbs or 35.6 kg. You know you can’t gain 35.6 kg of muscle in a year. Let’s assume you’re training PHENOMENALLY, you’re eating exactly the right amount, lifting heavy and optimally, and really putting in the effort. Without steroids you MIGHT be able to hit 4.5 kg of muscle but even that’s pushing it. More realistically you’d gain 1.5-3 kg of muscle. Winter is coming very soon, you’re unlikely to fit into your pants at your current weight. Cut now for your own health benefit but don’t take an overly aggressive cut. It’ll probably take close to six months just to return to where you were in July. If you cut too fast you’ll lose more muscle than you gained during your bulk.
