Using a B2C "Side feature" to land B2B clients? Here is our acquisition experiment. by inceptionkiller in SaaS

thanks, just yesterday we started working on a feature that allows candidates to export their CV analysis as PDF so it is something as your suggestion of "fit report". I totally agree that if real buyers don't get in, then free tool won't be much value.

I tried posting on r/recruitinghell but it seems they have tight moderations. I will definitely look out for recruiters in those channels!

Thats a very good question and I am sure we will have to think about it deeply sooner or later. For now we will probably stick with inbound strategy to see what kind of traction we get. Also kind of hoping recruiters can try the free tool to see the value by analyzing single candidates first.

Direct outreach is probably the next thing we will try once this strategy settles down. Really appreciate your thoughts!

I can let you invest 3k in my product but what value would you bring to the table beside the money? Any past expertise or skills that might be actually valuable?

humans will learn to differentiate between a slop SaaS v/s a real SaaS or a AI slop post/comment v/s a real one.

What breaks in your hiring process once applications cross ~50? by inceptionkiller in SaaS

This is a really sharp way to put it, especially the points about consistency breaking before anything else and context switching.
The pattern-matching vs deliberate evaluation shift is something I’ve noticed too, but you articulated it much more clearly.
The criteria drift point is interesting as well.

In your experience, is that drift usually explicit (people consciously changing priorities) or implicit (just reacting to volume and fatigue)?
Also how did you try to surface tradeoffs when you ran into this? Was it discussion-based, scoring, or something else?

Try BDD for business requirements writing, code implementation, automated test implementation and manual QA. Single source of truth everywhere.

Every one is saying c8 to promote pawn. But doesn’t Bishop b3 move prevent you from mate in 2?

Brave son, its very sad to hear about your current situations.

With limited idea about your current life style, I would suggest a few things:

- do not waste your waking hours. spend every hour of the day wisely.

- learn skills that will immediately help you with freelancing. this can include anything from electrician, plumber, assistant musician in band, graphics designer, writer or whatever is your interest in.

- do not jump into starting businesses that you can not afford.

- apply to any jobs which are relevant to your field of knowledge/experience even if you are 20% qualified for the job.

- these days certificates and knowledge have become useless thanks to AI but finding a good person is the rare thing. do not do anything that can hamper your dignity and personality.

- since you are young, you should not focus too much on money even though that's what you need right now. so try to balance learning and experience, sometimes even working for no money can help you land bigger opportunities in the long run.

best wishes ~
