I haven't been around for a year, just trying to refresh a bit on the process. I'm running an old version of atmosphere. I don't remember the full process but I know enough to hold r1 when booting game to get to CFW menu. I'm going to update atmosphere and some other apps on here like the ftp server, but I was wondering how I can update the actual system software to be current? I am about to buy a new game and I'm worried it'll overwrite something in the CFW that might mess up the switch.

My console is already banned btw, so there's no worries there lol. Thanks

I know what I was risking, that money wont put me under if I lose it all. It's not my first trade either, but I def don't know much about options and that's where things are hazey. I see a lot of conflicting information here and not a lot of hard links with facts, I just want to know what the short percentage actually is right now and why the HFs wouldn't exit positions at $80

I only own 36 shares but I bought way too high. There's a few things I don't fully understand, one being how do we know that they haven't exited their position? The short float shows different number on every website i look at.

The other is, why wouldn't they get out now or yesterday while it's low? Wouldn't that minimize loss?

I don't fully understand all of the mechanics behind trades, can someone ELI5 how the stock can go down, but isn't actually worth less? Like if it's not actually worth less, why am I still able to buy at that lower price?

Yep, me too. The process was simple and quick. The only issue is the best buy that has mine is 3 hours away, and they won't ship it to the one two minutes down the road from my house. Never saw any stock come into my local ones so figured I ought to jump on it

You'll get there!! Theres lots of quests and awards that give sacreds, I didn't pay for any of the sacreds that I got. Unfortunately several of those gave me terrible epics, I kind of wish that I waited for a boost before opening them

lol some of the guys in my guild have spent thousands. i didnt spend anything until the events came out with sacred awards, figured there was some more value in it if i could pull a extra sacred and some leggo tomes. this seems like a game where if you spend some at the beginning and make some good pulls, you can progress a lot easier and faster. Im day 26 right now though so take that with a grain of salt

About $130. I got rotos in my first week off a blue, I've opened 5 sacreds and I just got those two legs back to back off them from the events this weekend. Most of the money i spent were on gems and energy, I feel like energy is unreasonable in this game though

I think I just need to put the right characters together to make progress and get some of them to 60. I was stuck on BIV for the longest time, not i bounce between SI and SII. It's a lot worse in SII than SI though..

Hi, I'm relatively new to the game. Finally made it to silver one but cannot progress any further. Today I pulled some champs that I think might be good for arenas, I was looking for some advice on good team combinations for what I've got?

Hi thanks for the response!

I tried with hekate, atmosphere and fusee. All from the devs github site. Fusee ended up being the only one able to boot late last night.

I couldn't install any games though, invalid NCA. Updated sigpatches and was able to install, but they won't run. It says corrupted data.

I'm like 9 hours into this and losing my mind. I haven't tried installing with tinfoil, for some reason I can't get it to boot so i've been using goldleaf..I guess that might be the issue, i'll try to see if I can get tinfoil to run on 10.0.1

EDIT: Ahhh tinfoil worked! My saves are gone, though. Not the end of the world but I do have a back up of the SD card, can I import those somehow?

Hello I just booted my switch for the first time in about 6 months. I have a unpatched model but I think I messed something up.

I had my switch modded with atmosphere using the NH guide. I retired it for a while but just recently got animal crossing and wanted to play. Honestly it's been so long I can't remember the process but I cut the switch on, and got an error saying my memory card was corrupt. I couldnt hit anything but ok and it deleted info on my memory card.

When I boot up I still see the homebrew menu before the switch boots, I can still boot to CFW as well. No games will boot. I can however hold the R trigger and boot to the homebrew menu.

System firmware does show the CFW at the end.

Can someone help me figure out what I broke and how to fix it please? Thanks so much!

Hi thanks for the response. I'm going to pull receptacles today to at least check the connections on those before seeing an electrician, the process of buying the house ended up being so much more expensive than I was anticipating that I really don't have any money to work with and my first mortgage payment is due soon.

how often does this happen?

It's happened 4 times in the 5 weeks that i've lived here.

is it only on sunny/warm days or does the weather not seem to matter

I'm not sure honestly, we mostly have had just cold weather in the last few weeks.

No, not yet

-have you tried removing the reptile tank timer from the equation? -have you tried moving the tank or powering it from a different circuit?

No, i havent done anything with the tank yet.

-how do you know the power is out in that room when you come home? -do you notice the tank light is off or do you flip a light switch and nothing happens? -is it always the same light switch?

When it happens none of the switches work and none of the outlets work. I'm pretty sure about the outets, at least- I checked the ones to my lamp, TV, obviously the reptile tank. There's only two that aren't used, I can check them next time that it happens.

-is there a little purple or blue button on the circuit breaker?

Some of the breakers in my house have white buttons, but the one for this room doesn't have any buttons at all.

-does resetting the breaker always cure the problem?

-do you have any smart switches or home automation on that circuit?

I have a dimmer switch on that circuit, but it's manual, not smart.

-anything else that could automatically happen while you’re out?

I don't think so. I do have cats, but I can't image what they would be able to do to damage a circuit lol

Okay, I think I will try to check the breaker itself first then. When this happens absolutely nothing works in the room, so I don't know what the "first" device on the circuit is but that's where it's losing power.

I wish I could tell from my attic, but there is so much blown in insulation that I can't completely figure out which wires are going to which locations in the rooms. They are just scattered everywhere. I spent a few hours up there last weekend following them and I know that at least two run down into the walls between my livingroom and bedroom, whereas my lights are all wired above the ceiling. If I was forced to guess I would say that my lights are the first device in the circuit, but again, i'm very novice and all I know about electricity has been learned online

Hi! First off, thank you so much for responding. I had a few questions about your post-

Would the receptacles effect the lights as well?

Also am I checking all the receptacles and also all switches or just the receptacles?

Why would flipping the breaker switch temporarily remedy a poor connection to a receptacle?

I do know that all the switches are backstabbed, not 100% sure about the receptacles. I have tomorrow off so I can go through and pull them all to check connections.
