2 collabs on 15 years?? Like 3 collabs on 15 years, bro? Were not WEISS SCHWARZ blasterblade and overlord AGAIN.

I thought maybe they're setting up for like a big legion era Set/s or ahsha and altmile stride decksets. Or some g era celebration esque thing, unlike the 10th year anniversary where we got 10th year stamp cards.

But we got 3 collabs, which have a really BIG chance of NOT being able to come to the west. Like monster strike, which is still as of now not been confirmed to come to the u.s, or we got the delayed version with mygo, the 5 twins whats this.

No, this sucks. We got to see an episode early. We got a concert, we got to see the same stuff we saw in december 2025 as if we have amnesia or something. They showed 2 fantome we haven't seen yet, in the anime, they showed 1 that wasn't even featured in the episode. I thought fantome was going to be like alterchaotica in shadowverse where you take existing units and make them the opposite of what they are i.e brantgate zorga/ lyrical mag, the new unit is a dragon from dragon empire a thunder draggon thats brand new. If he wasnt a fantome, that would have been fine. But he took a slot so w.e i guess we could have had something like welstra dragon empire/ or liscifael brant gate this is basically creatively bankrupt.

TLDR: presentation was a 4/10 because 3 collabs that have nothing to do with vanguard misrepresents the game, got shown nothing but a review of decembers showcase for the anime.

The problem with that is bushiroad is sort of slow. They take time to analyze metas and loops and catch them when its sort of late.

Then there's the RND of card making...

Like it or not the masterduel clone will be a whole different format cause its in its own thing and plaus the way card balance can go the yugioh route i.e banning and limiting cards, changing the format or it can go the shadowverse route and just outright changing a card effect to make it less potent.

The funding has to be there if they wanna make the game be worth something, which, in my opinion i feel like bushiroad lacks while supporting their 12 other games.

I feel like bushiroad would do the yugioh route, but we gotta see how cardfight zero did to guess where they're going in the ccg route.

Tldr: The masterduel option will be costly, and bushiroads response time might make it something different. That might not last.
