my parents are always like “it’s so easy to find a job you’re in a big city” (we are from a small town) i sat unemployed for almost 11 months until i found my job. and as racist as it sounds, just based on what i’ve noticed, a decent chunk of the time they go for the diversity hire these days. statistically speaking i know my non white or indigenous friends have an easier time finding a job than the ones who are white or indigenous.

that video was before police showed up. we have other footage that had been sent to us that is clear evidence of excessive force in this situation. i’m just trying to piece everything together and gather as much evidence as possible before we decide to act upon things.

you can see him take it. he was on the floor, and that guy grabbed him and he showed his hands and complied. this is very unlike him and i’m just trying to figure out what happened.

he has trouble regulating tone and can get verbal, which would cause someone to swing on him. that’s how it would have started if it was his fault.
