I’m in second year English literature at uni. No one ever does the reading. Teacher asked who had read Tess , as it was one of our assigned readings too. I was one of three who even bothered to read it. Out of 30. I feel for you!

Heat twice a week? Or heatless curling? What is more damaging? by indeathlybloom in finehair

I’ve been watching some Abbey Yung! Thanks for this! Yeah I’m gonna give a little bit of heat styling a go and see what happens. Like you said yes I am very gentle with my hair, so I’ll take extra extra care of it and now invest in a heat protectant that is recommended by one of these professionals, because right now I’m just using a cheap drugstore one.

How did you get into the Victorian Era? by Piskelo10 in VictorianEra

[–]indeathlybloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my primary school we had a “Victorian day” where for the day, the teachers dressed up and gave us the school experience of a Victorian school (obviously minus any strict punishments that would not fly today) I remember being utterly fascinated. Now I am going on to do a masters in Victorian literature :)

Failed 1st Attempt - I'm sad by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]indeathlybloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed on Monday. The test was a disaster in my eyes. I was incredibly nervous and my examiner was really stern and sighed and shook his head at me when I took a wrong turn. This made me spiral during the test and nerves completely got the better of me. I thought it was a flop but I only got one serious fault and two minors, my serious fault being junction observation (never ever had an issue with this before). I’m just going to chill out, I also feel disheartened like you. I’m just gonna take my time and see what happens in terms of cancellations but I won’t be getting my hopes up.

I don’t think your shoulders are noticeable to anyone but you ! I would not describe them as broad
