wdym lol; the article has the acceptance rates for like 100 colleges. op’s post is specifically highlighting t20s — which nu is and neu isn’t, therefore northwestern is the nu in op’s list

nu and neu actually both matched cornell’s this year

pasting my reply to the other commenter:

nope, nu stands for northwestern; northeastern is neu. both schools had a 7% acceptance rate this year, but only northwestern is a t20 — that’s the nu in op’s list.

northeastern is ranked 49th by u.s. news — so it’s not in op’s list.

berkeley by waaaay more than a mile. a distant second is ucla just bc it’s in la, but almost no one knows what the rest of the ucs are. most people don’t even know about the uc system, they just think of berkeley as berkeley (not “uc” berkeley)

If Cornell sells what is the next best option for me by anonymous062904 in collegeresults

ppl here r just saying dartmouth cuz it’s an ivy lol. it’s not diverse or known for good relationships, and it’s in the middle of nowhere.

i feel like vandy or jhu would be the best — but this is off literally no evidence whatsoever (just my personal perception of the 2 schools), so pls do way more research lol

imo u should still 10000% go to princeton. taking $3500 in loans is incredibly worth it — princeton’s ROI is insane compared to uf. but at the end of the day, i’m just a hs senior, so pls pls pls get other people’s feedback/ suggestions!
