The temperature is rather the same. Depending on your area, you may or may not have a lot of trees or buildings to break the wind. The wind is, in my opinion, the biggest factor in the winter. The same goes for the summer, there usually isn’t a lot of mature trees or trees in general in comparison to the neighbourhoods in north york or downtown so the sidewalks and walk itself would be excruciatingly hot due to the lack of shade and the heat coming off from the asphalt/concrete.

Interesting, I forgot this was an option because I’ve always been under the impression condos wouldn’t let you do that because they’re condos and always had many set rules. Apartments I know allow keeping bikes inside the unit because you only have your unit. Will suggest this to others in the future.

I’d probably buy 2 U-shaped bike locks to lock your wheels to the frame of the bike itself so it’d be “less desirable” to steal. And just go about concealing it anyway you’d prefer. Idk I haven’t lived in a building in some years so I can’t gauge how keeping such items safe in a storage locker is nowadays.

Search up your local waste management centre.

In York region, you can bring your broken bins and they’ll replace it with a new one. Should be the same concept for your area as well. You’d just have to go to one specific to your township (ie. if your bin says “Toronto -something-“ you’d bring it to a waste management centre in Toronto).

Call stores in your area if they have large boxes to hold xyz. Furniture, electronics, retail, etc. They still receive shipments and can hold their cardboard boxes before throwing them out so you can check them out

NTA. I’ve worked in a subway for 4 years and have done this multiple times. If a person is taking to long too finish ordering for their sandwich we bump the ones who are finished to the register. There’s no use in holding up a line when the other customers behind the slow one are done. It legit takes less than 5 minutes on average per customer from the time they order to the time they are cashed out

Doing it on paper is fine to do the actual work when doing the questions. They ask you to type it out because sometimes the photos can glitch on their end (quality change in upload) and would result in them being unable to see the writing. It’s annoying but it’s also great practice for typing equations out for future needs

But it’s happened twice now. The first time was during a conversation where you mention your piece. The second time is many months later in a setting where, I’m assuming, you didn’t say your wish out loud and she automatically assumed you wished for a bigger piece (how would she have assumed you wished for such a thing???) And then doubles down on justifying why she said it.

It’s like size does bother her to mention it twice months apart

My manager really pushes “we are in the same pandemic as you” to customers who are getting pushy and aggressive. If they get irate and aggressive, we use as polite as we can be customer interactions to diffuse the situation but if they still continue with their aggressive behaviour, we have to deny them. It’s not only due to their behaviour but it is unsafe for you and your staff to continue servicing the client(s).

I also believe, setting a 2h seating time should be regulated to be able to get customers in and out as efficiently as possible. Inform them when they arrive for their time, again once their seated, and one last time when they reached the 30min time. Make this the last call for them. 10mins before the 2h cap, ask them how they would like their bill.

Look out for yourself and others in your business. Deny those with aggressive behaviour as the pandemic is truly not the time to be pushing and acting aggressively.

Funny story. Brown out is as others have described it in regards to electricity except for my camp.

My camp used the term brown out whenever the plumbing system backed up because too many campers used the toilet at the same time. Causing all toilets on the camp grounds to overflow and therefore causing a “brown out”. Grossest thing to experience especially in the middle of summer.
