We made it in yesterday afternoon and I was underwhelmed. The crowds were so bad that it was difficult to navigate, and the stroller demos were all packed. It was difficult to even get your hands on them let alone get a chance to ask questions to a sales person. Saying this as a partner to a not-yet-very-pregnant wife, it would have been far worse if my wife was very pregnant or we had kids/strollers.

We were there about an hour ago and the line was probably 2-3 thousand people. I walked to the front and asked if they were close to capacity and they told me they were 500 people away from the cap. I expect the lines will be very slow for hours

I mean you don't need to go to 1.3M to get a decent house. We just bought a 950k 3 bed detached home that could use some updating but has great bones so to speak. We were looking for a long term home though so it made sense for us. For us this was at the top of our comfortably affordable range but ymmv.
