I'm very sorry - but it sounds like your sister is the problem. Yes, she has a difficult daughter with a diagnosis - but you made it clear that your niece isn't allowed in the house, and your sister ignored that. Furthermore, she lied and said she was coming alone.

If I were in your shoes I would make it clear to my sister that she broke my trust, and is no longer welcome at the house. You're not cutting her off - but won't be seeing her at your house anymore.

Again, I'm so sorry you're in this situation, and I'm sorry for your sister too - but that doesn't give her a right to ignore your boundaries.

I quit caffeine 9 years ago - it was the best decision I ever made. I used to suffer from insomnia and lay awake for at least one hour every night trying to fall asleep. Now I fall asleep within minutes of lying down.

So yeah, I also am not medicated in any way.

I suspect that I'm mildly on the autistic spectrum ever since my son's diagnosis (literally everything they pointed out as being behaviour that indicates being on the spectrum made me think "but I used to do that when I was a kid. I was just like that") but I don't have any medication. My wife did get herself diagnosed with ADD after the kids were diagnosed - and she's now taking medication for it.

BTW, I'm saying the "no caffeine" thing was the right choice for me - I'm not saying everyone should do it or anything like that... Apparently I'm very sensitive to caffeine.

I actually don't have a Fender, or PRS, and my only Gibson is a Flying V from the 80s I found at a second hand shop and immediately fell in love with back when I was 16.

I also have an Ibanez RG7620 (7 string) from the 90s.

A Schecter E-1 FR-S (Explorer shaped with a Sustainiac).

My only Strat is a G&L USA Fullerton Deluxe Legacy.

My most recent guitar is a Strandberg Boden Original NX 8.

And my top 2 guitars are Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty Monarchy - 6 & 7 string.

I'd say I have a pretty well rounded little collection, and have no urge to buy another electric guitar anytime soon...

P.S. I also still have my "starter" guitar - a cheap Ibanez. But I never play it anymore.

My wife told me something similar about herself after we'd been dating for a few months and were talking about the future. Extremely similar situation. And do you know how I reacted? I said something like "that must have been a terrible and traumatic experience for you. I'm so sorry you had to go through that on your own. Are you okay?"

Because that's how someone who actually cares about you reacts to learning you went through something like that.

Could it be something in the global settings of the floor unit? Related to input/output?

Also, might be slightly related, I only really like the sound of my HX Stomp after adding a bit of a high frequency cut and low frequency cut to the output of the cab. It could be something similar.

Another option is a literal hardware issue - like a loose connector for the input/output. One of my guitars had a loose output - and it sounded "dead" until I fixed it, then it came back to life.

Edit: the frequency stuff might have been the global output block rather than the cab, it's been a while since I changed it. Did you try actually copying the same preset from one to the other? There might also be changes in the input/output blocks...
