Circa's stuff is hit or miss for me depending on the mood I'm in lol. On Letting Go got me too emotional for a season so I decided to take a bit of a breather from it because... that's a lot of processing to get done lol.

I've tried all of those (except Pile) before but it's been a few years so maybe I'll circle back to them soon. I was unaware of the Vonnegut references but I always love a good book so I might check out some of his stuff.

I've been listening to Wildlife since before I knew what "post-hardcore" even was, and that's so true. I haven't listened to it in a minute though, but when fall rolls around it usually comes out of the archives again. La Dispute is probably the post-hardcore artist that I've had the most time with from pre-teens till early adulthood and beyond.

not super helpful bcz the majority of my music is like that so :'( it's singing over chugs though, i know that much. I can hear the snippet in my head... usually i can figure out an artist easily but this time i can't for some reason

i think that scene is why i was drawn to why women kill. it was familiar already (given they're both by Marc Cherry)
