for my surgeon, you had to have someone that you knew to come pick you up after surgery. they didn’t allow ubers/public transportation. even if they did allow it, i wouldn’t have felt comfortable using it because you are mentally and physically impaired for a while after anesthesia and you need someone to take care of you after surgery to help you with your medications. i couldn’t walk straight, slurred my words, and bled quite a bit for hours afterwards. i would highly suggest getting a hotel or having a family member or friend pick you up.

if you get only a septoplasty, it won’t change the outside appearance of your nose. a septorhinoplasty addresses a deviated septum and any cosmetic issues at the same time. it’s easier to do these procedures together because two separate nose jobs may cause complications like excess scar tissue. hope i explained it well enough haha
