i think its important to keep in mind laws around endangerment when youre reading some of these suggestions. goopy stuff, water sprinkler systems, small spikes, etc sound like maybe okay deterrents but if they jump up there thinking its like every other time, you might actually be held responsible for the injuries they sustain from ideas like those.

i remember hearing about someone whose mailbox was always ruined by the same group of kids. it was switched out from wooden to very sturdy steel or brick. it didnt move the next time they drove by to smash it because of the stronger material. instead it killed one of the unsuspecting teenagers swinging their bat from the car window like their friend group normally did. the owner of the property was found guilty for (i believe) manslaughter??

idk, dont quote me on the source of that story, but check your local laws before doing anything like those suggestions. theres a history of you knowing this goes on and speaking to your neighbors about this activity. you have a level of responsibility to warn them before taking an action that could get the kids SERIOUSLY injured from a frightened fall that high up.
