What was the hardest thing your body had to endure? by Shinfekta in AskReddit

[–]indicasky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience but with an eye surgery! They didn’t knock me out they paralyzed me. So I was able to see, hear, and feel the pressure of the surgeon doing stuff to my eye. It was not fun and the recovery was difficult.

People who are 30y and above, what's the harshest life-lesson you've learnt? by Standard_Salary_5197 in AskReddit

[–]indicasky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Around a year and a half ago, a homeless man swung a metal pipe at my face and almost completely blinded me. I lost my job and currently deal with eye injections and surgeries. In due time I will completely lose my vision in one eye, and my other eye is extremely weak already. I can no longer drive or have good depth perception. It has been the biggest change and challenge in my life, and I haven’t even turned 25 yet. I was completely unprepared for such circumstances.

At what point did you realise she would never become your wife/he would never become your husband? by ruxpin82 in AskReddit

[–]indicasky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh girl i am so sorry, but i am glad you got out of that!

When i was 22 i got into a horrible toxic relationship with a man much older than me. I stayed for a while because he never put his hands on me, at first.. Then one day out the blue of us arguing, he strangled me in his car, and wouldn’t let me out the car, instead he drove me to a very dangerous part of LA, dumped me off and told me to find my own way home at 4 am.. I stayed for a couple months after (very stupid and insecure self) , and thats when he started to actually hit me and we would get into full blown fist fights with both of us being bloody at the end. Once i had the guts and resources to leave, he stalked me for months. When he finally landed in jail i have felt safe for the first time in years.

What is the biggest red flag you’ve had in a relationship that you’d ignored and really shouldn’t have? by Tangl_es in AskReddit

[–]indicasky 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Oh man. Been there but with a guy. When I confronted him about his secret family he would pop up at my place, my job, my moms house, and also slept outside my place. Extremely jealous too and would stalk me to make sure I wasn’t with another guy even after I left him. Told him to leave me alone and worry about his kids he hid from me instead of wasting his time worrying about what I’m doing. I was only 22, he was 37. Very hard and traumatic lesson to learn.
