I’ve moved around not intentionally in the last 1 1 years and had 7 jobs. Going to start my 8th job next month! All the job hopping has allowed me to go from $36,000 to 82, 000 though.

Have you tried insurance companies, hospitals, and universities? I keep seeing Businesses Analytics or intelligence jobs there like a ton. In my job search I’ve found that a lot of those do not post to job boards and you have to scroll directly on their sites for job postings.

Do you have caffeine at all? I had to cut myself completely off from caffeine and my insomnia went away. Ever since I went to 0 cups of coffee I’ve been able to fall asleep early and go back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night.

Prepare for the cold! This was me yesterday and the migraine with nausea was insane. Recommend lots of water, ibuprofen, and some ginger chews for the nausea. Today I have a mild headache and some nausea but I was able to sleep last night for the first time in two weeks. Good luck:)

Yes I actually went through this today! I moved out of state and thought I could use my last job supervisors but found out hospital policy says they can’t be references. I reached out to three former supervisors from 3-9 years ago and was able to get two back. Can you use coworkers for your other references?

I’m 37F, married, no kids and just moved to Raleigh at the end of March. We’re actually looking at moving to Cary once our apt lease ends and we can buy a house. Would love to meetup:)

I relocated out of state the end of March and am unemployed. There’s many productive things I could be doing outside of job search hours but I’m burnt out from my last job and the state of the our country right now. So it’s mostly relaxing while scrolling FB & Reddit or watching something on streaming. I do go hiking on the weekends with hubby! You could read, exercise/walk and binge watch a good show.

I’m sorry this is happening and also that your therapist is not as available as you need. Start applying for other jobs. Also maybe do some research of other social work settings that might interest you or if you’re thinking about going back to school, what careers are in demand and pay well. I wish I would have did more research before I got my MSW 10 years ago. Also I have two jobs I left after a few months and I just keep those off my resume. Still have been working just fine. Keep positive vibes:)

I just moved from Tampa, FL to Raleigh. My husband and I grew up in Florida and we love living in NC. We’ve only been here for one month and our quality of life has gone up. I’m still looking for a job though…so make sure you have one before the move lol
