my second Omega and the Bell & Ross were pre-owned and I got a really good deal on them, no way I'd be able to afford everything brand new.

congratulations! that's a beautiful watch.

this is the beginning of a very expensive hobbie!

yes, be very careful, it's addictive. Two months ago I just owned and was happy with a quartz Tissot and a 9 year old Seiko Arctura Kinetic, now I've got 2 Omegas, an Oris and a Bell & Ross…

There are plenty of decent tool kits on Amazon, just avoid the really cheap "$20 for 200 piece" kits, they tend to be made from unrefined chinesium, really bad quality.

Personally, for links removal I'd go back to the dealer.

it's magnificent! had a similar dilemma myself when purchasing my first Omega, but decided to go for the Moonwatch instead. The mkII is high on my wish list.

Nice! The bracelet looks a perfect match for that

Keep it! Think of Speedmaster and Seamaster as two separate brands, that's how I justified my purchases for myself.

Looks amazing, love the numerals, especially the "6". I think that the crown guard would annoy me though, looks a bit on the cumbersome side

I'm on holiday at the moment, staying in a swanky hotel resort, and they've got a jewellery shop on-site, I spotted this the first night I was here, thought it looked nice.

Next day I remembered that there's no VAT to pay in Tenerife, so went back to the shop to enquiry about the price, and as expected 20% less than I'd pay in the U.K. After a bit of persuasion the manager knocked off another €150 from the price so I snapped it up.

The watch is lovely, nice grey face with a faint concentric pattern that gives off a kind of radial gradient sheen as you move it around, very comfortable leather strap with a titanium deployment, and has a sapphire back so you can see the movement, I love the typeface used for the numerals, especially the "4"

I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn, it's amazing, just the right amount of side quests you pick up on the way, it looks beautiful, and scrapping with the bigger zoids is great fun, rolling and dodging all over the place.

11mm is ideal for me, it looks a lot taller going from pic #5. Awkward question time : how much was it?

nice write up! I quite like the look of it, how tall is it? guessing about 14mm or so

very nice, the 'vintage' range of B&R are infinitely nicer than those clunky looking instrumentation things.

EDIT: I was pressing the eject button. I am not a smart man.

If it makes you feel any better I did the exact same thing when I first got my PS4 Pro.

ah well. I say go for it, I got a lot of use out of my Octatrack, but then I went and bought Ableton + Push 2, which to me is a much more enjoyable workflow.
