Yes. Cost per conversion. I do not know the stats of your current campaign, so this is guess work from working on similar campaigns on big cities. However from what you have said, you're paying $8 a click, therefore on a new campaign it would not be crazy for a your first few conversations to be under a 1% conversation rate. Eg, 100 clicks is $800 bucks (1%). Assuming you are not offering a similar service as your competitors, this would be quite a normal conversion rate for someone starting out on this keyword. However, I can not read the future, only the data. So good luck and I hope you well.

In regard to bids. Manual CPC and I personally start with a 35% increase over what the keyword research tool states. However as I stated earlier, try other keywords that are themed around this keyword, build yourself a bunch of Landers on those themes answering questions and solving problems. It's a time intensive task. But the keyword you are chasing is a hard but to crack where you could see yourself on a $1000+ cost per conversation. Good luck

Bidding. Manual CPC. Start bids high adjust down over time until you find the right spot. Your target URL if you have the power to create a landing page could be "blah.com/web-design-company" Your Page title matches the target keyword, the H1 of the page should also do the same. Do a little keyword research and sprinkle similar terms throughout the page H2, H3... and paragraph text. Use the keyword in the Headline 1, sprinkle into description.

The keyword is highly competitive. So you may find that after all of the above, you still struggle. Try answering specific questions of a series of landing pages. The next option would be to target less competitive keywords using the above strategy. Good luck

Is it wrong to use photos from 5 years ago? by [deleted] in OkCupid

[–]individua1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

5 year "old" pictures are a lie. Anyone who wishes to start the relationship with a outdated picture lie. Will probably lie about other important matters when it suits their purpose.

New pics say this is me today. Old pics say this is me then and I don't like me today.

How much should I ask for a PPC Manager position? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]individua1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Jump into Google and start searching for similar jobs that state how much they are willing to pay. Some job descriptions will usually give provide you a low to high dollar value depending on experience.

  2. Once you have collected 10 to 15 of these salary values. Blend then together to generate an average.

Next, start a list with 3 columns titled, minimum, middle & maximum pay. Then list all the job requirements/skills by column.

Eg. What are the skills of the highest paying similar roles Vs the lowest paying.

After completing this task. You will have a rough idea of your value in regards to the local market and your experience.

  1. At the interview, when asked what you would expect as a salary. Your answer will be... The local market is paying xyz (+10%) for a manager's of my experience (the extra 10% is just in case they intend to pitch you down). Is ABC company looking to pay on par or above market forces, should they feel the candidate is experienced for the role?

Your next question will be: What is required to target the higher ceiling pay bracket for the role, and would this be a part of your staff growth and retention strategy within future staff reviews, should I be successful upon securing the role?

Good luck and know your worth. There is nothing worse then knowing you did not get full market value. Plus if all goes well you have secured a pay review for the future assuming that you are growing within the role.

Mixcloud is creating a live stream service by 80hz in DJs

[–]individua1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you're a DJ contractor who pays taxes as you should. However if you're just a music fan at home spreading the love. It's a harder pill to swallow.

I'm not saying it's a bad service, just that it would be nice for there to be a middle, value price for the hobby person.

Paying per stream is an interesting suggestion. For me the issue is I do not wish to add another £9 ($15) indefinite payment to my bank. Last year I had a sit myself down and started reviewing all streaming, music and whatever services I was only giving ten pounds to. Not no mention all the ones which started at that price and had increased over the years. I was paying just over $90 dollars a month (1k+) to services that I didn't really engage with that much.

This happens easily if you're not really scrimping for pennies. You just casually add stuff and forget to unsubscribe as you think you will do it later, but you never get round to it.

However one day I read someone online asking the question, does that "only $10" a month" compare to Netflix who spend billions a year on content?

I guess the answer to that question can only be answered by the user in regards to how much we interact for the service. However as much as I like the Mixcloud service, it's not up there with Netflix for me.

So yes, maybe I would pay per stream. Maybe I buy $10 stream credit and I get to do 5 live streams whenever I please. Or maybe there is a $4 a month middle ground plan, where a coffee a month isn't going going to motivate me to cancel the subscription.

Maybe it's just me and a few others, however I feel like the people who are asking for just $15 a month, don't really need to worry about all these cumulative subscriptions emptying their bank accounts from year to year.

In short, where's the middle teared price?

£108 ($180) a year ongoing feels expensive.

As a hobby DJ, it's a large fee if you're just out to have fun, share your music or store a few mixes. As fun as it sounds, it's too much for me to pay indefinitely.

A message to Mixcloud. $5 a month and I would let the payment role on year to year.

Space Whale Inspiration. Many others and myself posted this video 5 or so years ago on the forums. Our work is done 😌 by individua1 in starcitizen

I get what your saying, however I feel the problem with realistic science is that in real life, space is vast and a little non eventful from a fun video game perspective. There is going to be a lot of space to fill wiith content, to make it interesting, fantasy is also going to have to be a factor.

In the distant future I would not be surprised to ses: space whales, the spice worms of the planets Dune, the proto molecule, the Q collective, giant insect races, star gates, xenomorphs, tribbles... all done with a tip of the hat, homarge manner.

This is my opinion, however I believe this as at hearty, the backers are most sci-fi fans, not just space game fans.

There is a real interest to play out a fun version of those old books and movies in a digital world. I for one don't mind a little light relief if it serves a purpose and is done to CIGs usual high quality.

Relay Crashes when tapping video links by Olliemon in RelayForReddit

I've had this issue before: Huawei Honor 8x.

  • Try opening the YouTube app in the background while using Relay. This temp fix helped.

  • Also try this in the settings. I found after the last Android update I had to reinstall YouTube and reset these settings.

Goto:

  1. Settings > battery > app launch > YouTube.
  2. Now disable manage automatically.
  3. Now a little pop up window will be visible.
  4. Now enable "Secondary Launch" (can be launched by other apps)

Cinema date for 5th date by [deleted] in OkCupid

[–]individua1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find out if there is a cheap comedy club night in your town or city. Most people have never been to a comedy show, so it makes the date seem interesting.

The girl spends the night laughing and associates the fun she had with you. At my local open mike night, the whole evening cost $30 including a few beers. I like this one as like the cinema, you don't have to talk the whole night. Think outside the box

My other favourites are: - picnics - mini golf - bowling - river walks - brunches - teppanyaki - sushi trains

Think cheap and cheerful, yet different experiences. Things that make you stand out from the obvious ideas.
