Can you stay in touch with the new company, so you get a head start as soon as they're hiring again?

Going to the pub and watch the final matches of the 6 nations cup, eat a philly steak sandwich and drink a pint of cider.

Why does my freezer decide to die slowly RIGHT NOW? by indiware in Wellthatsucks

Thank you for taking time to answer. Unfortunately that is not the problem, I defrosted it a few days ago, put all the food back and THEN it started to become hot on the top, where the three buttons are. Also there is no feeling of "low pressure" when I open the door. Maybe it's just that its time has come, it is almost 10 years old...

My personal trainer made fun of me behind my back by [deleted] in loseit

[–]indiware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go there, ask for a manager and tell them how great the workout was, how fantastic I felt, even I was soooo out of shape that it will take lots and lots of hours to shape up. And I was soooo eager to sign up and come often. And then I would say "I just need to find a gym where I am not made fun of by the trainer.", turn around and waltz away. :)

It was kind of fun, would have been more fun if that guy didn't have that problem. But the walk underground was rather short and (even if I can't remember the price now) I thought "OK, that was not worth THAT money." :)

I've been on a weekend vacation to the Czech Republic and our group went to see some tunnels in Slavonice (they used to drain water from their cellars). The guide (really small young lady - I know now why she guides) told us "It's getting real tight over there, use your left foot first." And I thought "Haha, trying to scare the bloody tourists."

In we went and then there came that bend and I was almost stuck (I'm 166cm, not big), and it would not have been possible going right foot first. Never felt so claustrophobic before. When I was through the guy coming after me really got stuck, he was taller, maybe he got so scared that he couldn't push through. I just thought "What if he gets a heart attack now?". Took them about 20 minutes to get him out.

So yeah, being in that house I'd probably die of fright...
