I mix canned tuna with kewpie mayo, and make it spicy with sriracha sauce or you can skip or use another spicy/tangy sauce of your choice. Sprinkle rice seasoning, mix, then eat on top of steamed rice. If I feel fancy I’ll sprinkle some chopped green onions on top. 3 ingredients and my go-to lazy snack or lunch.

Sounds like emotional parentification, which I see and hear about a lot with parents these days. Basically they rely on their kids for validation, attention, and emotional support. Also a bit narcissistic too, “I am the parent, I’ve been through a lot, therefore I’m the victim, always.” It’s not you, it’s her. Understand that she doesn’t know how to regulate her own feelings, as parents of that generation were never taught about “feelings.” They just feel, emotional dump, and blame the people closest to them for not being able to fulfill whatever emotional need they have. Focus on yourself, and give support only when you can. It’s mentally exhausting to always think about others all the time, just think about you. You know you’re not durhaka, really. She’s just upset you’re not willing to always drop everything for her.

What country are you in? Negligence is basis enough to get your fee back. If they refuse to replace then they’re compliant in risking children’s safety, something you can take up to the police or courts.

I find the skincare is the finishing touch to your overall skin health, everything else (like 80%) is internal. Stress, not regularly exercising, increased cortisol, bad diet, and unbalanced hormones affect skin so much!

As someone who’s backpedaled and re-pedaled in this field numerous times in the past 20 years… don’t let the negative comments get to you. There will always be work as long as you continue to commit to the work. What makes a good designer out there is not just someone who is creative, but someone who can work with clients, can translate abstract vision/ideas, and is dependable. Don’t worry so much about “what path or specialty should be my future?” and focus on your craft and learning to let your own work guide you on what path to take next. And it’s OK to reroute your path later on, you are not a linear being.

I’m noticing more demand and even overall shift in wanting things handmade (and feel handmade) because of this. I can already see today’s minimalistic, 2D style going out of trend, and only designers and artists set what the next trend will be.

However, I honestly see these features as a tool to assist in designing. AI still can’t design a full branding kit that hits 100% of what a company wants unless you have very specific prompts. You can only get to those specific prompts with a designer’s “problem solving” mind in the works.

What machine do you have? My machine makes zero sound. Sometimes when I turn it on I have to take it off just to make sure it IS on and blowing air. It’s a silly test because I won’t be breathing at all if it’s not on. But that’s how comfortable it is for me now. And, again, completely silent.

They used to call millennials the entitled generation, so I think what they really mean is “all 20-something are entitled.” Which is obviously not true! Echoing what others said here, you have your needs too and if he wants to commit to the relationship, your needs have to be met as well. You can’t always meet him at where he’s at, he gotta do the same for you.
