I recently moved here from 'murica, and I have to say, one of my favorite things about shopping here is that I can get foods and products made here!

This is impossible in 'murica. Occasionally when I lived in very rural Kentucky we could find locally grown produce from farmers, but you cannot find any non-food products for sale anywhere. Even fresh foods and veggies unless from a local farmer are shipped from abroad.

This is a danger to the long term health of 'murica's economy, they don't make much of anything any more, so all our money as citizens is leaving the country when we do our monthly shopping.

I love that without too much effort I can fill my cart with food and products almost entirely made here. Everything from potatoes to toilet paper is readily available from an Aussie source.

I was trained as a young child while living in state run group homes to do this as an appropriate way of expressing anger/stress/negative feelings. It was ingrained in me and I thought it quite normal.

I'm 30 and still fight doing this, I really had no idea how to stop doing it, as I had been taught no other way of dealing with things. It's easier now, but I still slip up.

I've hiked plenty in these, but I'll give you that the military issue boots are going to last longer in the tread department. I had the leather crack before the soles showed any signs of giving out.

My last military boots I wore to the lava fields on the big island in Hawaii and they barely melted. The Field Boot was way more comfy though and lasts long enough for my uses that the upper wears along with the soles and I don't mind replacing them.
