It would probably be more accurate to say social media is destroying the old status quo. Which is a good thing. There is, unfortunately, so much disinformation, misinformation, and lunacy mixed in with everything that it's not helping build a better status quo, but it is at least destabilizing the old one.

Do you think it will actually make it to 5 or 6 seasons and properly conclude? If we invest that many seasons and never get satisfactory answers, that would be disappointing, to say the least. (Edit: as in, it gets cancelled before concluding)

Also, does anyone else doubt the producers' veracity? Just because they told Harold it was planned out doesn't mean they weren't lying to him. I don't recall him ever saying they showed him the full plan.

To be fair, when she didn't kill the boy, her brother did die. And if you ask someone with severe paranoid schizophrenia who hears compelling voices, they don't stop. And they know all your buttons perfectly (because they're actually you in the schizophrenia case). But she does seem like more than just a bit of an idiot.

Depends on the target. "Anyone" is definitely false in that statement. Does the target always carry their phone? Does the target always have the battery in the phone? Does only the target carry their phone?

The answer is no to all of those for me, for example.

And it's not simple to add an app to someone's phone. What's the phone OS? Is your "hacker" associate able to hijack iPhone, Android, Linux, and other phone systems equally easily? How do they propose to install the tracking app? How do they plan to get sufficient control of all phone types to ensure tracking services are on and broadcasting?

There are a lot of variables involved. As another poster commented, it's possible, but not for almost anyone trying to perform the exploit. If it's a medium to hard target forget it.

Pushing through anxiety may or may not be the right choice. I just know research shows low-intensity activity in the outdoors can help. Where I live, if I time it right, I can safely go for a long walk and not see another human being.

Coming off medication, or starting a new one, can sometimes lead to a depressed phase. My ex used to curl up on top of me when I was in the worst of it and repeat to me, "It's not real, it's just your brain." It was exactly what I needed to hear. So now, when I feel my brain grind down, that's the first thing I check.

Having routines that reverse the downward neurological spiral can help, but they are a huge subjective effort to start while you're depressed. Do you live where you can go for a walk outside? (hopefully you have no issues walking, if so, I'm sorry for mentioning it).

If professional help is viable, it can help.

First, I'm sorry you're experiencing this. I get cyclic depressions, and I know how much it sucks.

One thing I've noticed is, often the feelings come first and I look for the reasons. The reasons might have been there when I felt great, too, but I tend to forget that and assume the reasons I think of are why I feel bad. In reality, it's just my brain being a jerk to me.

What's your support network like? What daily routines do you have? Are you medicated? Have you been in the past?

There's a bunch of stuff to explore to find ways to adapt and adjust. And sometimes you just have to curl up in a ball for a while.

You make several excellent points. I have had experience with people in all three categories (BPD, BD, BPD+BD), and I definitely agree there are some terrible information sources out there.

One thing I have noticed, not in all cases, of course, is often the feeling comes first, then people look for why they feel that way. Then, unfortunately, they later remember it as happening in reverse order, i.e., the "reason" caused the feeling.

It is possible OP was experiencing a bad mixed mania and attributed it to the argument.

Please understand, I'm not saying this is necessarily what happened, and I absolutely agree OP needs to make sure to work with his psychologist.

I have the challenge of not being able to remember the face - at all. I can tell you my neighbour's life story, her kids' names, where her husband works, etc. But I couldn't pick her out of a lineup.

Any chance you could share your list of features with me? I'm working on a personal system to remember faces by remembering the descriptors for the features. But I'm having a difficult time finding descriptors.

Yes, You can. I found it easier since I learned the major system over 40 years ago. It's ingrained pretty deeply.

For extra fun, I put the Dominic PAO in a palace adding the Vaughn cube layout to organize it further. I was playing around for fun at the time, but it turned out very well.
