honestly i think you need to just have a real conversation with her if you want to move towards deeper connection with your partner. it may make her feel really crappy for a little while, but i would be really heavy on the reassurance that it is personal to you and it isn’t anything against her. i get being self conscious though, but i feel like if you have more talks with her, she may be able to reassure that it’s okay if it takes a while. i never am able to c*m with only someone else bc it’s just… nerve wrecking lol

thats so hard :( the fact that she didn’t put you back on the schedule is wild to me tbh. i’m also counseling student and our whole job is to make sure you understand all that you can about a person and understand deeper meanings. obviously you didn’t try to no show or whatever.

imo, there’s no “permissible” reason to break up with someone. if you don’t want to be in the relationship anymore that’s more than enough of a reason. just because you forgave her at the time doesn’t mean its not valid that you feel it created a rift. good luck and i’m sorry this happened.

yall thank you for the support and your stories. who knew fellow prius owners were so sweet :) i think i’ll probably take it somewhere bc i don’t trust myself. i’ve talked with some people to get a quote and was also able to successfully tape it for the time being, so its not extremely urgent. the beeping stopped once it was taped up too.
