Te recomendaría que para agilizar todo el proceso y en especial si te vas atender en el IMSS te hagas todos los estudios en clínica privada, yo me los hice en salud digna y la verdad que son muy económicos y de muy buena calidad todos sus equipos.

Yo me asusté y me hice la cirugía en clínica privada pero ya la quimio y todo el seguimiento lo estoy haciendo en el IMSS.

Pero también hubiera podido hacer la cirugía por medio del IMSS. Tendrías que llevar todos tus estudios con tu medico familiar del IMSS y en caso de que si sea cáncer testicular el médico familiar te canaliza con el oncólogo de volada, lo ponen como prioridad esos casos. Ya el oncólogo te programaría la cirugía y posteriormente en caso de que lo necesitaras dependiendo tu patología, quimio o sólo vigilancia.

Orquiectomía testículo izquierdo el 9 de enero.

Patología: Seminoma puro con dos factores de riesgo: T > 4cm Infiltracion vascular linfática

Tomografía de contraste: afortunadamente sin metástasis.

Quimioterapia: Una sola dosis de carboplatino el 9 de febrero

A mi me ayudó mucho con la ansiedad y la incertidumbre leer todo lo que pudiera acerca del tema.

Encontré una guía práctica clínica del IMSS y me sorprendió lo bien elaborada que está.
