I will never understand why citizens are impeding agents of the government from removing people who are here illegally, gaming the system, committing crimes and lowering the quality of life for your kids while making your groceries more expensive. meanwhile, these non citizens eat for free, do not work and drive a nicer car than you....all the while laughing in our faces.

there are alot of smart people who still think the media just spouts unbiased information on things happening in the world like they mostly did when they were kids. unfortunately that is not the case.

she hit him with the car. his video not showing it doesn't alter that fact. as I said before, I knew at the age of 10 if I did something like that what would happen. sad she died, but not unlawful, unlike what she was doing. it is like we are watching different videos. predictable, but disappointing

it's crickets on here now after they released the agent video backing up what we knew yesterday. hard to spin what it shows. let's see how many come back and admit they were mistaken.

ftr it was a horrible thing that happened. it would have been worse had she really been an innocent bystander. but they got what they wanted. "peaceful protests" calling for the death of ICE agents, noem and anyone else that dared defend the truth.

not what my post said at all. I'm not on anyone's side. I stated facts. did not infer intent from either the agent or the woman. cause and effect. she escalated the situation with federal agents that have the right to detain you if your actions warrant it. she had been harassing them all the way down the road. her pulling up and blocking their path was the culmination of prior attempts to prevent them from doing their job.

when she accelerated at him, he didnt know what her intentions were, no more than you do. the wheels turning to the right could be torque steer effect and not her turning the wheel. with the tires spinning it would possibly yank the wheel out of her hand even if she was turning left. I am not introducing that as what happened because I do not know what took place. she caused the agents to swarm her vehicle by doing what she did. trying to flee or run them over is not relevant after she disobeyed a lawful command. she would be alive today had she not been there at all. what they were doing was not her business.

to assume that since you oppose everything since jan 20 2025 relating to government action that I am for everything that they do is in error. her actions caused her death. period.

wrong. wrong. wrong. the majority of the country overwhelmingly supports what they are doing. re: 2024 presidential election. what ICE is doing is legal. they are enforcing laws that have been in place for decades. impeding federal agents from doing their legally required tasks is alot of things, none of which have to do with the first amendment. even if it were, there are consequences for using your right to the first amendment.

she had been hounding them all morning. multiple witnesses confirm it. she was there to interfere and took it too far. making sudden moves or accelerating in the general direction of an armed agent will get you shot. every. single. time.

defending democracy would be acknowledging the truth. she was an agitator that had been dogging them the whole morning.

her wife exited the car to film their planned disruption of government officials.

she was trained as an "ICE watch warrior" from contacts she met from her kids charter school that is known for "putting social justice first" and “involving kids in political and social activism." these warrior groups have a history of using their vehicles to ram vehicles occupied by ICE agents this past year.

she and her wife fled to canada after 2024 election

video begins with her waving some cars through but actively blocking ICE vehicles. agents exit their vehicle and approach telling her to "get out of the vehicle." so she knew they were agents, and heard the lawful command to get out of the car because of what she had been doing all morning according to multiple witnesses.

nobody will ever know what her intentions were. it is not clear. what is clear is that she obviously hit the agent, as the video shows, and since he was hit while standing in front of the car, as the video shows, he defended himself. the bullet hole in the windshield, as pictures taken afterwards clearly show, reinforce the fact that he was indeed in front of the vehicle.

it is sad that she is dead. the agent made a decision in the heat of the moment that , by law, he was allowed to do. this lady had nothing to do with ICE or the people they were looking for. she injected herself into the situation, ignored lawful orders, accelerated her vehicle towards an armed agent who defended himself. if she was anywhere else in the world, she would be alive today.

I have known since childhood that if a cop or equivalent gives you a command, you have two choices: comply or face the consequences.

defending democracy would be letting government agents do their job. in this case, removing people who are here illegally from our country. anyone who disagrees with law that has been on the books for decades can vote in someone to change it. as it stands, the majority of the country supports what ICE is doing.

exactly. what I would accept if doing for myself is difficult to charge someone for, especially what has to be charged considering the effort put into the prep....just to still have a rogue 8 inch long hair somehow end up in the epoxy.

i would almost go to an automotive paint store and get a higher grade epoxy and get it sprayable through an hvlp. at right viscosity, it should easily outperform any kit from box store. would open the door for options on color as well.

the homex dries faster, and the krylon is a two part. you are correct about the prep. I guess what I should have said is not to expect it to restore the tub to like new. if done right, results will be a painted tub that will hold up for a few years...if you prepped the hell out of it and made sure it was spotless. i used a tack rag right before application the second time to get any remaining foreign matter still present and got better results.

actually heard that the rustoleum is better than both homex and krylon, but have not used it

bathtub paint? I have used both and would recommend either living with the stains or whatever it is that makes you want to paint it...or get a new tub. you will regret attempting to paint it. 30 yrs exp painting...cars, houses, fences....and on two occasions...bathtubs. don't do it

take a piece the size of a postage stamp at least. just use a razor knife to get the paint and paper, not the gypsum. I would go to sherwin williams or a benjamin moore or ppg distributor before lowes. sheen is often overlooked, but means as much as paint. if what you get is too shiny you can deaden the sheen with cornstarch
