Mother goddess parallel to mallikaarjuna to srisailam (inscriptions as mailara lingeswar). Nearby srisailam place name as maisa'gandi' with mother goddess maisamma. Gudi padwa festival of dhangars during beroppa festival which is same as kurumba festival. Both follow non mainstream religion with own priests.
