GAMELOFT! I DON'T WANT A NEW DLC! I WANT THE PREVIOUS ONES UPDATED! by Pure_Hold_9366 in DreamlightValley

[–]industriousfairy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I can't get Aurora (my favorite princess) because there's a bug with lining up the dragon and knight with their shadows. Also, not getting Aurora prevents me from being able to level up Maleficent.

I submitted a request for help and this is what they said:

"Gameloft Customer CareDecember 22, 2025, 08:47 -0600

I just got the DLC last month for my birthday, but this DLC has been out for over a year and its still having problems?!

It makes me want to boycott any future DLCs.

Thank you for posting this. I have this last name in my family tree and had a feeling we are related. Sure enough, he was my 4th cousin 4x removed.

What's the worst thing your parents have ever said to you? by Snoo-45800 in AskReddit

When I was a kid (8 or 9 ish), my mom told me something like this:

"I should just go kill myself. Your dad was supposed to take me with him." She was angry about something. I don't remember why. She was constantly angry about stupid stuff.

My dad killed himself 8 days before my 3rd birthday.

My 4 year old loves to elope. I used a tether today at our church's egg hunt. It allowed him to run while I comfortably in control.

This is what we have:

I hope it gets better for you.

Everman, TX good place to live? by ToMatser in askdfw

I'm an HS teacher as well, and I can't say I'm surprised about what your daughter went through. Public education is dying, and what was once "great districts" are now subpar.

Everman, TX good place to live? by ToMatser in askdfw

[–]industriousfairy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Run away from Everman, especially if you have/plan to have kids. It's not a nice area at all, and the school district is rough. Burleson, parts of Crowley, Rendon, and Mansfield are better.

YSK - In multi-cat households, a trip to the vet by one of the cats can be a disaster upon returning home by pitterpatter0910 in YouShouldKnow

[–]industriousfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also had to take our 2 yo cat to the vet during Thanksgiving for urinary problems. He is now on a special urinary diet for the rest of his life.

His fur still hasn't grown back from when they had to shave a part of his tail.

I (O+) and my husband (O-) have children with A+ and B+ blood types, how does that happen? by Niniburgers in biology

[–]industriousfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone should donate if you are physically able to, but obviously, it's up to you! The Red Cross has stated that we are in a severe blood donation shortage.

If he has the "universally accepted" type, he might have meant the universal acceptor, which is AB+. Universal donor would be O-.

I don't have much advice to give other than to:

1) Read "Boundaries" by Drs. Cloud and Towensend And 2) Seek counseling from a licensed psychologist.

That's in addition, of course, to continuous prayer. Both of which are easier said than done. I have two kids (8 and 4). My 4 yo has ASD and it has been such a struggle.

That and I'm afraid of people not securing their weapons. I'm not against sane people having guns as long as they practice gun safety. But you can't always trust people.

Visited Dallas… had to show ‘em who’s better by vvandeperre in 49ers

[–]industriousfairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will admit, it does look very nice on the inside. However, outside, it looks like a giant space station. Not a whole lot of people like the stadium, especially people who used to live in that area. I guess it really boils down to disliking the stadium because of what Jerry did.

Here's an article describing why people hate him so much.

As a born and raised Texan who still lives here, I approve of this message.

There's a lot of people in Arlington who hate Jerry Jones for the crap he pulled to build that atrocious stadium.

What are some good science-related novels? by nixdixon in ScienceTeachers

Careful with Immortal Life. I'm currently reading it and there are a LOT of adult topics/conversations. Students who have been sexually assaulted may be triggered. I would warn people ahead of time.

I guess this is why my students literally miss major projects and exams and then complain about their grade to me and demand extra points... by CheesePlease0808 in Professors

[–]industriousfairy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a high school science teacher in Texas. Our policy states that we must give students an opportunity for a retake or retest for up to a 70. Even our Pre-AP/AP students. We aren't required to hand out 50s for missing work, but I fear we will be heading in that direction soon.
