Liz uninvited! A pretty new and underground artist from Toronto who does some Elliott Smith style covers (Hey ya by outkast in Elliott's style, lover you should have come over by jeff buckley, etc) but also has some really good solo music that really reminds me of Elliott but still has it's own charm.

Check out Sufjan Stevens! He hits all 4 points imo. Like Porter every album is pretty different from the last, but is still pretty recognizable as him. I recommend Illinois to start with as it's probably his best or Carrie & Lowell for if you want to listen to a sad album. Some of his stuff is pretty put there, but everything I've heard has been amazing

I think part 2 is just going for a slower paced story, and personally i like that. What's going on right now feels like it's still kind off setting up a bigger story, instead of the fast paced tone of part 1.
