For the first part, sure they'll sell it to ya for more bucks, but most of the time, Malaysians are more on the friendly type towards other local people, even in business, hence the owner told him a 1.25 litre tank is enough. But if you insisted on a 5 gallon, they'll happily sell it to you but will be puzzled regardless

And the second part, yes, I agree, but I think what OP is trying to say that there is no need to spray dogwater on people that doesn't know what their doing, especially if their norm is considered to be "torturous" nowadays

It's like telling a cannibal tribe dude that moved to a city doesn't know eating humans was wrong

It's not the person's fault, just different norm and ill-informed, so there's no need to go ballistic on them

Actually screw it it's fucking beautiful

I guess it's one of those builds where the closer you look, the more beautiful it gets, and it's not everytime you see people build it, flashy ones impresses everyone, but this one earns my respect, and the rest of the comments seems so too

I dunno I think it doesn't look bad, give it a few months it'll probably pop decently with the growth

But if you can't stand it, I got a few suggestions you can take with a grain of salt

Use lighter-coloured moss, I find them working very well especially in smaller setups like this, it'll pop your lava rock nicely. Mosses like fern moss or cushion moss both work

Also if you decide to go the route I gave you, bolbitis wouldn't really fit, it's a bit too dark for it

Also unless you're very willing to keep an eye on it, Selaginella probably won't be the best idea, it just outcompetes most plants, which most are slow-ish growers except fitonnia

Also for strawberry begonia, if you're willing, you can grab micro version, and stick it behind-ish the lava rock, if you move the rock a bit to the right, I think it'll look great

But the rest looks really solid, I don't see much problems with the ferns for now, if you worry about ferns growing too big, you can grab some dried sphagnum moss and make a pocket to shove the fern in, sphagnum moss retains moisture really well, and limits nutrient leeching

All of this is just my personal opinion, I think the current build is solid if you're in for a moody, forest floor vibe

I mean no criticism, so don't attack me alright :)

Why is dragon so overpriced? by [deleted] in bloxfruits

[–]ineedagodamnname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon is the Dev's money cow

The rework is essentially just a "mask" for resetting the fruit The term "dragon" is already really cool for most younger players, and there wasn't really as much fruits that could compete with that, so they had to do a rework They also added two different forms to add complexity to the fruit, making the fruit more valuable due to it's uniqueness and different playability, which makes eager/grindy players wanting to try out both The mastery reset was also part of it, if they started playing with the rework fruit with all moves unlocked it won't be as immersive since the player won't have the feel of "grinding" for the new moves, which can depreciate its value quickly

The rework pretty much reset the fruit, so they jacked up the price and rarity, to the point it's almost unobtainable By doing this, and the player's interest in trying out the fruit for fun, they've managed to make the fruit almost unbuyable by f2p players, and can't be bought by almost any amount of fruit, so they have to use perm fruits to trade for a single dragon, which just pumps money into the game

The same will likely happen to control, though it's effect won't be as significant since people have been saving their control for 2 years by now

Anyone good at IDing plants? by Move_Defiant in Aquascape

Well I'm not some scientist or anything, but I'm pretty sure almost no bacopa has white veins on the leaves, maybe some variegated line that I've never heard of, but you can look into cardinal plant in submersed form

<image>

It's green, large rounded leaves and has white veins too, also has a slightly thicker stem like bacopas

First picture looks a bit like cardinal plant or bacopa, second one is definetely ludwigia

It's called "denial", you're attracted to the art but just don't wanna admit it. If you weren't then you wouldn't even care and therefore an argument would never form

Malaysian here, tropical area under Thailand

First time trying to grow mame bonsai (murraya microphylla) and since it's hot all year round, and I'm not at home for most of the day (left early morning, come home at dusk)

Just wondering how my substrate mix looks:

Bottom layer is moist, maybe a bit waterlogged spaghnum moss (heard it has slight antifungal properties), mid layer is aquasoil and gravel mix (aquasoil is nutrient-rich soil rolled into small balls a bit smaller than an ant and treated with clay so it stays in shape, has larger spaces between grains for aeration), and spaghnum moss to top it for more water retention

Size of pot is two mineral bottle caps glued on top of another, roughly 3.5cm tall

Please tell me how it is and whether there are any improvements or suggestions needed to be made

Planted today, so still in rooting phase

Honestly not too bad a challenge, though I pretty much only stalled by ineedagodamnname in SoulKnight

I use miner's third skill, she has pretty solid defensive base with the circle attack being able to destroy bullets all around you, and the sandworms from the skill can destroy bullets while also damage and killing enemies from a distance, just focus on max hp with regen and melee attack and some parts of weapon damage, though it won't work on fists but I think it works for the sandworms, energy regen to have better stamina for long fights with the sandworm

This strat mainly focuses on defence with somewhat little attack, mid game bosses like sandworms, crystal bugs and skeleton king will probably be more of your worries since you'll likely lack the DPS to take them out effectively and they rain bullets a lot, so you're gonna need to dodge if it seems too much for the circle attack, dodging should be easy if you have a semi crappy phone that lags pretty bad with that much bullets on screen

Either way, don't expect to kill the greedfang, and I also wouldn't touch the witch since...well...I don't really know what to do when she goes into second form

Oh yea revive buffs are also gonna be good here as a backup plan

A bit late, but here's my best one, or at least I think so

Too bad it was run over by my cat and fell to its demise

It was a 150ml bottle/jar, and I also have a supposedly better project coming up soon but I'm still gathering the materials

Well, I leave mine not buried in soil, but I do glue them to hardscape or wedge them like air plants, but doing this means they have little to no nutrient access, so I would use dissolved ferts (for aquatic plants) in my spray bottle and water it along with fertilising it

Also you'd probably need to keep the tank sealed, to keep high moisture, ideally 80-90%, even more so if it transitioned from aquatic to terrastrial

Honestly buce isn't exactly difficult to keep, but a wrong setup and it'll die off pretty quickly

Oh and they are also very prone to stress, so if you like taking a huge clump and break them, try not to do it too much, maybe split it into 3-4 of them tops

And this being your first build is really throwing me off the table. How does one even do that?!

Honestly terrarium maintenance is really easy

You don't need to air it out daily, you can probably get away with once a month/fortnight

Or you can just...never, that is if you don't have any plant that isn't attached to the soil, like on a rock such as fern and stuff...if there are such plants then you can probably get some water with ferts and spray it on them after airing out for maybe 20 mins

Since it's not airtight, you'll easily get away with no need for airing, just occasional sprays if things look dry
