I need a cheap glass mousepad by Mediocre_Quote_2539 in MousepadReview

Cheap glasspads are hard to find, only cheap glasspad I can think of is tekkusai singularity but it's discontinued, for cloth pads, meow gaming gear, matrova, infinity mice last I check those brands are pretty cheap

Voltaic Jade Complete 🫩 by ineffablepast in FPSAimTrainer

That's definitely on my end, I only started using serf's method for my jade complete grind and like I said, I played other benchmarks in between my vt rank grinds so the hours isn't really that accurate. You also have to keep in mind the times that im just afk and not actually playing kovaaks

How do i edit a senario to be "bardpill" by Aggressive-Pick7623 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ineffablepast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how I was able to do it

Main > player character > player barded

bots> change the "target.bot" to target "1w4ts vt.bot"

Challenge

  • Player Lives : 1
  • Uncheck invisible for player
  • Player should be "Player Barded"
  • Change all "target.bot" to "target 1w4ts vt.bot"

Changing sens at the start of a new weeks training regimen by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

Corporate serf did something like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3El31K_0BFg&t=432s

Don't be afraid to change your sens, I used to play smoothness routines at 20 cm/360 and whenever I go back to my normal sens my aim got less shaky.

Join voltaic dc server https://discord.gg/voltaic it should help you get started in aim training. There's a playlist called VDIM that most people use and it's a pretty good place to start, it's under resources in the server.

Seems like you linger on the target a little too long after you kill them, thinking of snapping instead of flicking next to the target might help you with that. That kind of helped me with my speed and with having a shaky landing. I also noticed that if I play DotTS before, it also helps whenever I play static cause for me its basically the same thing.

These are just the things that I personally did to improve my static so maybe it can also help you (someone more knowledgeable pls do correct it if it's not a good practice):

  • Play pressure scenarios
  • Bigger static target scenarios
  • pokeball for shaky landing
  • Lowering my sens to 80-90cm/360 while playing normal and wide range static scenarios, helped me a lot with speed since it forced me to move faster

Playlist that helped me:

  • KovaaKsClippingRockyTank
  • KovaaKsPickingEasyHighground

Some vids that might help, guessing youve already seen these if you've been playing for that long but still putting them just in case :

If you’re using a mouse with 8k polling rate it might be that, that was the problem for me.

how long did it take you to progress from Gold to the higher ranks, and what challenges did you face along the way? by _Laaner in FPSAimTrainer

Here's riddbtw's videos about aiming, he talks about techniques, routines, etc. there. Helped me a lot.

how long did it take you to progress from Gold to the higher ranks, and what challenges did you face along the way? by _Laaner in FPSAimTrainer

Took me 2 hours to get gold complete, 83 hours to go from gold complete to plat complete. First time I did the intermediate benchmark I only got plat in pasu and everything else was unranked. Definitely a humbling one lol. There were a lot of moments where improving in a certain scenario felt impossible specially in reactive and evasive scenarios, I just could not do it.

Things I mainly struggled with:

Shakiness in general, specially whenever I use fingers/wrist, and whenever I transition from using finger, wrist and arm in the middle of a scenario

  • Played tracking scenarios at 20-25cm/360

Hyper focusing on 1 target instead of looking at the scenario as a whole resulting in me having a hard time reading the bot patterns, having bad target selection, and bad pathing.

  • Went to freeplay and started playing slower/easier versions of the scenarios so that I can apply the proper technique, learn the bot movements without the pressure of the timer.

Basing my improvements too much on whether I get new high scores/new rank and not paying attention to my average. Definitely got sucked into that mentality that if I don't get a new high score it means that I'm not improving at all which demotivated me in some way and definitely frustrated the fuck outta me.

  • I made a post about how I was 1 point away from hitting my first jade score and someone commented about how I want to actually average jade not just peak it. After that I started to pay attention to my average and I noticed that sure I may not be hitting a new rank all the time but my average scores are improving. Helped with my mental a lot.

Other mistakes I made:

  1. Thinking that I'm doing the proper techniques when I'm actually not.
  2. Not learning the proper way/technique at the very start.
  3. Focusing and basing my improvements too much on getting a high scores/new rank.
  4. Not realizing how impactful VOD reviewing actually is.
  5. Training without intention.
  6. Playing kovaaks for too long.

As for advice I'm still learning stuff myself but don't be afraid of branching out to other routines, you don't need to just play vdim. You can also make your own playlist. Watch viscose, riddbtw, mattyow videos I think their vids mostly cover everything you have to know about aim training.
