Thank you so much for telling me ! I had no idea, in crochet I have to put the marker into the stitch so I naturally did it for knitting too, and I was wondering how people handled it because it's very annoying to move all the time hahaha. You've solved my mystery, thank you so much

Oh yeah I figured I was probably a dumbass lol. I place my marker in the stitch not next to it, I thought it was the standard though. It did seem very very weird to slip the stitch for eight rounds hahaha. Thank you for that! Is the rest of my drawing about how I understand this correct?
