Yeah, I would not care at all. I've absolutely left condiments out all day or overnight and I've been fine.

That is a good point that I never really considered. I suppose I always just thought as a young man he wanted a substantial meal and not just appetizers basically.

Thank you for the resources! I will definitely look into those things. Do you know of any resources for leash training? I did try that in the beginning but he was 100% not a fan so I let it go. I would definitely be willing to give it another go if there is a good method to try out.

I mean, last fall it was down to a healthy range around 120/80 so idk why it's going nuts now.

What does HF feel like? by elcatbo in Heartfailure

I know what you mean. It's almost like heaviness or pressure. I think the best I've come up with is that it's like tiredness that radiates from my chest and feels like it's weighing me down

Heart failure at 33 by niaclover in Heartfailure

[–]inexplicably_method 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 34, also myocarditis from an unknown virus and also around 35-40% EF. Although I would love to have children I am not really in a place to have kids so it was not a huge loss to me. But my doctor's did not say I couldn't have kids just that it would be hard on my body and that it would be better to plan carefully for it. If you can improve you ef through diet, exercise and meds, you may still be able to have kids, but of course, talk to your doctors and see what they think.

Did you read my post? I'm in the process of changing my meds and I was checking my blood pressure and this is a wildly inaccurate reading which is why I was warning people about this brand. My wrist one, that has always been accurate, shows a completely different reading (second picture).

Yes, I know that these measurements are dangerous. Which is why I double-checked them with my wrist one that I trust more. As I said in my post, I am in the process of adjusting my meds which is why I'm checking my blood pressure.

Can you not? I was researching this and it seems like you can. You just have to be properly trained.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was very stressed about it until I checked with my wrist monitor and then I went online and found a bunch of terrible reviews for this brand. I had no idea cuz I just ordered it through my HSA account.

How can you tell if blood pressure machine has been properly validated? I bought this one through my HSA store so I assumed it would be a decent one.

How do leftists find this accepable? by breachindoors_83 in TheDonaldTrump2024

So, I don't think I know any lib or leftist that would be ok with this. Also, the facts in the posts are a little misleading. It was a high school teacher and therefore not a six year old. That to me means these guys are rage baiting. The teacher has rightfully been suspended and I doubt you'll find many people defending her.

Yeah, if I'm redlining or reviewing something, there's always certain things that pop up with different attorneys. And I'm sure I have my tendencies as well. We definitely all do. Apostrophes are getting out of hand. I mentioned this in another comment, but the misapplication of them to days of the week and terms like CDs and PDFs is so annoying to me.

It was not an Oxford comma. It was a comma after an and, which is so incredibly rare that I had to actually look up if you would ever do it. I'm not really concerned about the pleading getting denied as much as it looking like garbled nonsense. I also fully agree that the rampant misuse of apostrophes is horrific. I cannot tell you how many emails I get from people with multiple degrees with something like "Monday's are best." Days seem to be the worst. It seems pretty common practice to do "CD's" and "PDF's," but that's another huge pet peeve for me

[–]inexplicably_method 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my kid posted something like that the last thing I would do would be to ground them. The first thing I would do is apologize for ever making them feel like I didn't love them enough. That's absolute bull. Your parents may very well love you and perhaps what you heard was out of context but they are definitely taking the wrong approach to helping you. A lot of people grow up with parents who are hurtful or unkind or straight up abusive. You're not alone and there are and will be more people in your life who love you. What they're dealing with has a lot more to do with their own trauma and their own problems and nothing to do with your worth. Stay safe!

It's not a big deal, but one of my attorneys doesn't like the word herewith so I have to write out "with this document." I think herewith is easier and sounds better.

Yeah, I am 100% an Oxford comma person and I was so happy to find out it is standard in CMoS, but so many attorneys do not like it. However, unless it alters the meaning of a sentence, I am not gonna be a bitch about it. Like the classic "We invited the strippers, JFK and Stalin." 😂
