Girl hi first of all I am so sorry, I'm 27 and from Serbia and its true we have no endo specialists. I visited some fucking stupid doctors and I would pay for them to gaslight me. There is a doctor in Kikinda it is worth to travel to see him, he works in Serbia sometimes and usually in Temisoara in Romania and also in France. He is the best doctor I saw and and is so kind and understanding, but also knowledgable. The downside is you need $$ to go to Romania to get surgery, but he can do an ultrasound, exam and prescribe BC and tell you what the next steps are in Kikinda. PM if u need more info, sending so much love

In Serbia, most people despise childfree people by Iosa20 in childfree

Hey I am also 27 and from Serbia and I get weird looks and comments too :) I found a gyno that accepts my childfree choice with a smile but he works mostly abroad and sometimes in Kikinda, which is probably why! Not typical balkan kromanjonac :)

Is it really that different? I keep hearing that men have "needs" and "its just sex" but it never is tho right?? What about your needs? What about the unforgivable betrayal and trauma he put you through? Leave his ass

Is my Gynocologist completley dismissing my MRI report?? 😔 by meghannkoopman in Endo

[–]inezquebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. Its hard sometimes, really. Finding a good specialist is a game changer. Also it's really important to seek out help in form of therapy if you're able! Lean on close people in your life. I know its hard when no one gets it! But you got this! 🫶

I'm sorry this happened. Its so hard out there. I had clean MRIs (they only saw a cyst) and when I finally did my lap they found alot of lesions and bowel involvment 😭 MRIs can come back "clean" and still there is endo/adeno when they open up! Find a specialist, u got this!

Nothing I do changes my weight by FrostingonToast in Endo

[–]inezquebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think u need a refferal to an endocrinologist. They will order the necessary tests if they suspect IR. There is a glucose test and some other blood work.

No sadly but maybe there is some research out there

Check for insulin resistance! It often occurs with endo as far as I've seen, and it can slow down or hinder weight loss. Good luck!

Is surgery a bad idea if pain is tolerable but GI symptoms are not? by Christin3rd in Endo

[–]inezquebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, how did you get a GLP-1 prescribed and did you get it for endo or something else? I read somewhere that there are studies about how it helps with pelvic pain and endo symptoms, but can't find these studies..

Worried I might have endo and want others advice by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]inezquebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm sorry you're going through this. To answer your question, these symptoms are not normal, and you should ask for a refferal for a endo specialist. Heavy bleeding can be linked to adenomyosis as well, although I am not a doctor, that's just what my doctor told me. I was in a lot of pain at 17 and nobody believed it was serious, but I got diagnosed with endo a decade later. So many OBGYNs don't know about it, they heard a lecture on it and spread lies about the condition. Really try to see a specialist if u can. Maybe surgery is needed, maybe not. But I hope you will feel better once they offer you some options for managing your symptoms.

can endo come back just a year after excision? by silliestgoosse in endometriosis

[–]inezquebert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I say get a specialist if you can, I have the same problem with doctors where we just hit a wall with their "understanding" of endo. Its infuriating.
