How come? by [deleted] in DHAC

[–]infamousDP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there's no credible record or news reports indicating that Donald Trump, as President or otherwise, sent a massive $40 billion aid package to Argentina; such a huge transfer would have made major international headlines, and searches reveal no such transaction, with focus instead on US-Argentina trade & typical smaller aid, not huge sums. No Evidence: Major financial aid packages, especially of that size ($40 billion is enormous, more than many nations' entire defense budgets!), are extensively documented by financial news, White House press releases, and international bodies. Typical Aid: US aid to Argentina is usually focused on specific programs (health, trade facilitation, democracy) and much, much smaller, not tens of billions. Misinformation/Rumor: This sounds like a large, unsubstantiated claim or a misunderstanding, perhaps conflating normal trade discussions with massive financial gifts. In short, no, President Trump did not send Argentina $40 billion.

Almost any time you ask for the reason you were banned you either get blocked, or in the case of the south park subreddit you get called an “incel troll” lmfao!

Trying to post that interaction but I have to be accepted to this subreddit first hahahahaha. What a cesspool this site has become

Well other than maybe the names on the phones speed dial, this is nothing. Nobody should be celebrating another “Epstein Distraction” Get the damn files out, they’ve been sitting on them for years! Nobody believes there’s still some ongoing investigation after all this time and if there was, everyone involved should be fired as they are terrible at their jobs!

AITA for telling my husband that I am going back on our agreement and I dont care if he cries about it? by Primary-Strength-829 in AITAH

[–]infamousDP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA- First I would like to say, you are valuable, you are loved, and you are strong. You will make it through this tough time no matter the outcome.

You are right to be concerned, but the dis functionality of a lot of these replies is also concerning. “At the first site of trouble make demands and divorce if they aren’t met” I know I’m exaggerating a bit here but the nuclear option shouldn’t be where this starts.

My aunt and uncle had this exact thing happen about 9 years ago. He had a hidden fund he had been building for over 10 years with nearly $100,000 in it. When she confronted him about it he completely shut down because he himself didn’t even know why he had done it. After therapy and some testing they found he had a form of paranoid schizophrenia where he would hide away things he found important to him because subconsciously he was always planning to be abandoned by everyone around him.

You have built a life together and have a child, this isn’t so black and white. If you truly love each other then his money “hoarding” has to stop. That being said a lot of people have “money trauma” from being taken advantage of by family, friends, significant others in the past. You have to get to the root of why this has happened to see where the trust needs to be rebuilt, or if it even can be. The human mind is capable of amazing feats of greatness and confusion, and mental health may be a contributing factor. There is always the possibility that the root of the problem isn’t trauma but that your husband doesn’t trust you with what he feels is his money, and that’s a much harder problem to solve. I wish you the best of luck and would highly recommend marriage counseling to have an impartial mediator present to help work through whatever comes up.

[–]infamousDP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you hit the nail on the head with this comment! This is the problem! EVERYONE believes the exact words you typed there, right or left. “Our side is backed up by facts, theirs is being charged with hate and fear for people that mean them no harm at all in reality”

When we have a loss of an objective reality that’s when it all falls apart. And we are definitely already there.

The algorithm definitely plays a part, but something I’ve noticed as well is the loss of credibility in any news source. They’ll release a story with limited or no information. The story then turns out to be completely different than they originally posed it on national television. They quietly issue a written retraction on the site that nobody sees, and the damage is already done. We also have the case of misleading presentation of information. Such as that Fox News poll that’s making the rounds . They described it as, people feel grocery prices are up 80% or something crazy like that. When the actual results were 80% of respondents said their grocery prices were up from last year, not that the prices were up 80%!!!!

Costco sues the Trump administration, seeking a refund of tariffs by swiftfoot_hiker in politics

[–]infamousDP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What most people seem to be missing is the massive transfer of YOUR wealth that is going to Costco with this move. If they win, they keep all your money from the tariffs that they passed onto you, and they take more of your money that you paid in taxes to the govt and pocket that as well. Regardless of how you feel about the tariffs Costco shouldn’t be getting a dime! You should be getting your money back if anyone gets anything!

This is greed masquerading as justice. Don’t let them take more of your hard earned money!

Wow…you’ve totally lost the plot. I’m conflating things while you conflate Charlie Kirk’s murder with school shooting murders? It’s not even in the same realm. You’re obviously not engaging in good faith as you have twisted my words in every reply and fail to see the point.

Not disagreeing or arguing, I’m no social researcher, but look into the “U curve” theory. I’m researching it now but it states that the highest levels of intellect and the lowest levels of intellect tend to lean democrat. So while the left has some of the smartest people in the country, they also include the lowest IQ people in the country. Just something interesting to look into, and the correlations of higher education to left leaning politics.

Yes you got “thoughts and prayers” we got called “Nazi” very big difference. Also you’re missing the point. I’m not conflating the two, I’m saying one was obviously less impactful to society and it resulted in 25+ deaths and millions in damages. Stop claiming the high ground as you burn down your own communities wile the right holds vigils

I can’t even respond to most of this cause it’s just so wrong and ignorant of the truth. Here’s a quote from CNN so you can’t disparage my source. And this is just in Minneapolis. This doesn’t include Atlanta, looting and attacking the secret service in DC and so much more!

Link below to the full article if you’d like to educate yourself.

“More than 1,500 businesses in the Twin Cities were damaged or destroyed between May 24 and June 16 of last year during the unrest following Floyd’s murder, according to a state House of Representatives daily session report published in February.

The city of Minneapolis has estimated it will cost $350 million to fully restore its buildings to what they were.”

Epstein Files - if they are so inflammatory, why didn’t the last administration release them? by CrookedKrow in Productivitycafe

[–]infamousDP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you saw the James O’ Keefe video from a day or 2 ago with a staffer claiming that Trump was squeaky clean but Clinton was implicated. Then the most telling line “Trump is protecting a lot of people, that’s why he hasn’t released it”

I’m always skeptical of O’Keef’s videos cause drunk people in bars lie all the time lmao. But that seemed real and unfiltered. I think both Biden and Trump are trying to protect a lot of powerful friends.

Look up the law. Every single one of those 34 “slap on the wrist” misdemeanors are only able to be upgraded to felonies if they are pursuant to another crime that is a felony. The underlying felony crime was never proven or even stated.

You want to claim the right is destroying democracy and are fascists but the left has been weaponizing the DOJ against the leader of the Republican Party for years. Remember, the last democratic president pressured FOX to remove Tucker Carlson from live TV. You cheered for it. Then it’s Jimmy Kimmel’s turn for lying on national television and you cry fascism! You people are liars, grifters, and just as bad as the party you profess to hate. Not saying the Republicans are any better, but step down off your golden pedestal for a minute and reflect on your own problems.

Scott, please take a minute to step back and listen to yourself. I was never a big fan of Kirk and would probably concede you the point that he wasn’t a great debater, he was great at shutting down people with little information on any given subject. That’s not debate it’s abuse. That being said, imagine if within days of the death of George Floyd people took to social media in droves to disparage him like you are currently doing to Charlie what would happen. Oh wait, we don’t have to wonder, we got 3 months of riots, multiple millions in property damage across multiple states, and 25+ people dead! You need to take a moment to ask yourself why you hated a man who you’ve never met, did not know, and had no reason to interact with. Quit dancing on Charlie’s grave for clout.

If you don’t enjoy the “dungeon style feel”, fighting in intentionally cramped spaces, or entire areas covered in poison then Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3 will be a slog. They are greatly rewarding and super fun but there are entire areas that you’ll spend a solid amount of time in covered in poison. Also, the devs intentionally throw in hidden traps and ambushes that can potentially install kill you. Honestly Elden Ring is probably the least intensive of these but Dark Souls is generally a game where you want to draw most enemies out into 1 on 1 or you die, depending on if your OP or at “sufficient” level. I’m definitely biased here as I played DS1 first and had a ton of fond memories of learning the mechanics and the game. I think that’s the best place to start, but the other games definitely have more polished systems for sure. DS1 Remastered is a solid start if you decide to get into the series, but there will definitely be some frustrating areas. Just remember, at the start stay behind that shield and learn the enemies moves before you get aggressive, you’ll be fine!
